When you count your blessings... actually count them... you will be astounded by at the miracle of this life.
Even if you aren't where you want to be.
Even if you haven't figured it all out yet.
Even if you're suffering.
And so, begin with me...
1. I am grateful for...
2. I am thankful for...
3. I am thankful for...
4. I am thankful for...
5. I also thankful for..
6. Oh wait, I almost forgot...
7. Wow, I need to include...
8. It's really incredible that...
9. Even though it's kind of a pain I'm still glad for...
10. I'm learning so much from...
11. Over the years I've come to be thankful for...
12. And let's just see how far you can get.
When we dream, we go on a spirit voyage.
We leave our bodies in our beds, and we allow our spirit to journey.
We all do this, every night—whether we remember or not.
The question is, why would we think that dreams are not real? Or that dreams are not as real as this waking dream we live, that we call real life?
As souls, we are multidimensional beyond our mind/ego understanding. We cling to real life—but our real life has many forms, including the metaphysical.
If you can accept that you spirit travel every night, and that this is as much an important and real part of your life as your walking time, your dreams will reward you by becoming even more interesting, more prophetic and more useful.

Intuition is instantaneous. There is no lag time or delay in knowing. One minute we are asleep, and the next, in a flash, we are awake and aware.
Why is this so? Because intuition is spiritual opening.
In meditation, spiritual opening can feel like your mind space goes from grey and tamped down,, to a great lifting off in dazzling white.
In nature, spiritual opening can feel like your mind space is all chatter and drama, and then suddenly everything gets beautifully still, and you realize you are absolutely aware.
There are other ways intuition, aka spiritual opening can happen, but there is always a sense of being one way—in the world. And then suddenly the great opening, the great relief, the great lifting off, as you enter the other realms.
If you are feeling disconnected or stressed or unsure, the best thing to do is let go of all distractions: all ways of being too busy, all ways of numbing out.
Go into stillness, and ask the Universe to remind you who you really are.
Notice what you immediately sense as true—and how this knowing happens instantaneously.

If you can learn to be easy in your body, your life will become easier too.
When we’re young, we might spend a lot of time adoring our body or hating it, or being ashamed of it, or being proud of it.
As years follow, our body changes: we start to age, and we can either do battle with products and surgeries and self loathing, or we can decide that age does not have a foregone conclusion.
There are many cultures where age doesn’t matter: where a sixty-year-old person has the body of a thirty-year-old.
In these cultures, regardless of age, there is ease in the body, ease in the human container. There is a sense of appreciation for all our bodies can do: climb, sit, stretch, make love, dance, walk.
As we head into the holidays, it's easy to get stressed about eating, exercising, what your body should or should not do.
It's great to relax all that.
Take some time to let go of shame around your body, and simply enjoy your container, exacly as it is now. Not thinner or bigger or smaller or stronger. Just you, in your body, as you are now.
P.S. We're filling fast! Sign up now for INTUITION UNIVERSITY training this January!
I teach Spiritual Psychic as group training only four times a year.
For Winter 2020, I seek dedicated students who want to work directly with me.
I seek students with open hearts, generous attitudes and the willingness to have the vulnerability to explore themselves at the deepest level. Our groups are joyful, personal Universes with lots of sharing and bonding, and the work we do is intensive and emotional.
Together, we'll explore:
• How far can we go as a Soul in human container?
• How conscious, awake and aware can we become?
• How can we open to our guides and angels?
• How can we connect with our departed loved ones?
• How completely can we open into different dimensions?
• How clearly can we communicate with the Universe?
• How much can we turn toward Light?
• How fully can we merge with the Divine?
ABOUT THE TRAINING
Spiritual Psychic Level One is an 8-week group distance learning course.
We begin in January. You do NOT need to be on the live call to participate fully. Together, within the support of a private cohort, you will learn the secrets of spiritual intuition—a practice that will open you to experiences you may not have thought possible.
I teach a modern, original method of accessing Divine guidance that I’ve developed from my own experience of psychic opening, and my practice in working with tens of thousands of students. We will work hands on, using personal practice and experiential learning.
If you're interested, pleased don't wait! This training always sells out.
What is your real life?
Is is the life you spend in the "real" world, doing things, working jobs, thinking thoughts?
Or is it the life you spend in the inner world, being in touch with yourself as a soul?
Mainstream society teaches us that the "real" world is real, and the inner world doesn't really count for much—it's just emotions and feelings that aren't "real".
But the spiritual perspective says that the inner world—the world you inhabit as a soul, the portals you visit, the dreams you inhabit, the dimensions you are continually sliding between—that this world is the true world.
The truth is, you get to choose. You can live in the logical, rational, mainstream "real" world that society tells you is real. Or you can live from your soul, understanding yourself as a multiimensional, infinite part of the Universe.
Whichever perspective you choose—that will be your reality.
P.S. Earlybird signups are OPEN for Intuition University training this January!
If you identify as a psychic, intuitive, shaman, healer or mystic, you are aware that your way of experiencing life is different than most.
The word "identify" means to claim as yours, to know yourself as.
When you identify as a psychic, intutive, shaman and so on, you step into your true self, even if the mainstream world tells you that this self is not possible, or it's not correct, or there's something wrong with it.
You accept this is who you are:
You sense everything.
You read everything.
You know things deeply.
You receive visions, messages and dreams.
You exist in all dimensions.
You receive and follow guidance.
To identify this way also means to let go of mainstream ideas: that being psychic isn't real,
Of course it's real.
We are created as souls, and as souls we are part of One, and as part of One we are intimately connected to all that is.
There can be a sense of resignation before winter in the northern hemisphere—how can we manage the longer nights and the shorter days?
Especially if we live in places where the seasons are pronounced, we become so wistful about the greenness of spring, the heat of summer, the absolute glory of autumn.
The thing to remember, is that all seasons have beauty.
If you tend to stay indoors from now until March, you might rethink that strategy this season.
Many people have beautiful outdoor practices in winter, that include walking, running, biking, hiking, skiing and skating.
I myself know that a winter's bike ride is just as fun as a summer one—just muddier.
A walk in the park in winter is just as beautiful in summer—just colder.
Stargazing is actually better in winter—such blazing white on an inky midnight ground.
Even just getting outside daily—to feel the expanse of the sky, to visit the trees—helps us remember we are part of nature, we are part of the season, we are part of the cycle, we are part of the planet.
We all want to be rock stars.
We all want to be cowboys.
We all want to be super cool.
We all want to be totally strange.
If you haven't got your costume yet—or horrors, if you've been thinking "bah humbug" this Halloween—it's time to rethink that.
That's because whenever you put on a costume—you try on another identity for a little while.
And this is incredibly useful for your soul.
Even if you wear a costume just for "fun", you let your stronger or bossy personality rest for a while, and you give the controls to a different part of yourself,
Maybe you're strict in your "real" life, and a costume lets you relax.
Maybe you're quiet in your "real" life and a costume lets you get wild.
Maybe you're responsible in your "real" life, and a costume lets you shake loose.
As we journey on the road of adulting and all the way into eldering, we sometimes forget parts of ourselves.Entire parts of our personality—especially the fun, wild, creative, joyful, adventurous parts—can get left by the wayside.
So when a holiday like Halloween comes, it's great to brush the cobwebs off.
It's a great chance to remember all of yourself—not just the grown up version who's pretending to run the show.
Do you long to reimagine the holidays, and experience a season of true peace and joy?
Join me for ENTERING STILLNESS: A WINTER"S RETREAT, where in next few weeks, from mid November until Winter Solstice, we’ll work together to create a new kind of holiday:
• We’ll create intention about how you would like to be in this season.
• We’ll create rituals and experiences that bring you to peace and harmony.
• We’ll let go of drama and dysfunction of all kinds.
• We’ll rest and retreat, and allow ourselves to unfold.
• We’ll create spaciousness and stillness, in tune with the season.
Our deep inward turning becomes punctuated by the beauty of cold and dark: the mornings when our breath clouds the air, the afternoons when the sun is merely a valiant trickle of light, the nights when we step outside and watch the stars blaze against winter’s cold sky.
It’s all incredibly beautiful and profound: this gift of a season that helps us feel both our smallness and our greatness all at once.
Regardless of how it's always been done, of family obligations, of tradition, of society's sway, you are absolutely free to create a mystical, heart-opening holiday that is brimming with joy and connection.
This is yours to choose.
Nature teaches us some beautiful lessons.
One is that everything changes.
Another is that everything dies.
Another is that everythign renews.
Many of you have the clear sense that change is coming into your life very soon.
You might know exactly what this change is.
You might just have a sense that something is shifting.
You might be excited.
You might be anxious.
What is good to remember, is that everything changes, dies, renews.
It's a cycle.
We're always in one part of it or another: beginning, ending, beginning again.
This lasts for infinity, because we are souls.
There is a lot of misinformation out there about what mediumship is and isn't.
Some of most common myths include:
• It's not safe
• It's dark
• Entities might attach to you
• You have to be born that way
• Only some people can do it
All of these are untrue.
Mediumship—connecting with the departed—is not only easy to do, but it is a very safe and light-filled experience. Especially if you want to contact loved ones—friends and family members who have passed on—the experience can be a source of amazing spiritual joy.
When we experience love beyond the veil, we have the deep comfort of knowing that we always continue together in spirit—we are always with each other as souls.
We can connect with our departed family and friends in this way, because the body dies, but the soul does not.
Souls can't be contained in finite or linear time.
Our consciousness never dies.
Thus, we can always connect—we can use our spirit self as a bridge to the dimension where the departed loved one exists—and we can communicate in many different ways, using telepathy, symbolism, emotion and energy.
There are all kinds of ways to meditate.
• You can meditate at the same time each day.
• You can meditate for a certain length of time.
• You can use breath.
• You can use mantra.
• You can use music.
• You can use beads.
• You can use a guided meditation app.
I've worked with a lot of people—many mediators, many not—in the field of spiritual intuition, and what I have found is that there is no particular way that is better than another.
They are just different. Each particular style or practice you use, will take you into a slightly different dimensional realm than the other.
• Some meditations take you into bliss.
• Some take you into sleep.
• Some take you into relaxation.
• Some take you into clarity and knowing.
• Some take you into intuition and visions.
The type of meditation I teach, which is really not a formal meditation practice at all, but rather a way of slipping into a particular dimensional level, is designed to enable people to receive clarity, knowing, intuition, visioning and channeling.
This kind of direct connection is not what you would use if you wanted to relax or sleep, for example. But it is ideal if you want to know what your next step is, and when you are ready to receive clear guidance from the Universe.
I teach this method in everything I do: courses, books, training, podcasts, all of it. If you're interested, I invite you to learn. It is profoundly meaningful to receive guidance from the Universe in this way.
The Universe is a funny place.
Everything in it is different.
But everything in it is the same.
We are all created of particulate, which is another word for star dust, the God Particle, the unified field, or any other term you want to give to Oneness.
We are all created of the same little bit of everything. Which means, since everything is One, you can find your answer in everything, all the time.
Even a spider web, draped in fall frost, can provide the answer to your question.
As you think about the questions you have—your life's path, your relationships, your intention, your self as soul—consider receiving the answer from a very small, ordinary thing in your life.
The micro reflects the macro.
All your answers are always there.
Do you remember when you were small, and you went outside to play and everthing was just magical?
Every tree, every flower, eery leaf and grass and stick seemed to communicate with you, whispering a mysterious language that you understood clearly, even though you did not know the words?
When you were a child, you understood Nature as she really is: a living, sentient, conscious collective of beings who are fully able to connect with you and love you.
Nature heals us.
Nature balances us.
Nature guides us.
If you have not allowed yourself to become a child again in Nature, to walk outside and simply be—not exercising, not with a goal or a mission, but instead just wandering about and noticing everything—these last beautiful days of Autumn are an extraordinary time to create that opening for yourself.
One of the things that the sacred and spiritual writings have in common, is that they are channeled.
Someone, sometime, sat down in a quiet place and let the language of the Universe flow through them. They did not create the information from their imagination, or try to form it in any way. They were simply the tube. They connected in to Divine source, and received what was already there.
Some channels express this in their voices, such as Esther Hicks's Abraham or Lee Carroll's Kryon.
Other channels receive in writing. Some of the Bible was channeled—it's clear that some of this work was written under a state of Divine receiving. Allan Kardec's movie and book The Spirits' Book has recently come to public light—a collection of channeling from the 1850s. A Course in Miracles was channeled in writing, and this is also how I received the spiritual teachings in The 33 Lessons, The Four Passages of the Heart and Messages from the Divine.
There is a particular voice that is revealed in channeling—it is not the language of the mind, but rather a soul language. You will know when this voice is accessed, when you enter into a state of trance where channeling can happen, because the content of what you receive is elevated—it is more than you could know on your own. It is at a higher level.
We are beginning to sense each other more.
With the Shift in 2012, we became suddenly aware of our own soul self.
If we were not awake, we started to wake up. If we were already awake, we had an exquisite expansion of our awareness.
Now, just a few years later and our collective consciousness is waking up.
We are not becoming aware of just ourselves as souls.
We are becoming aware of ourselves as part of COLLECTIVE SOUL.
We are waking up as a collective.
As One soul.
If you have been having dreams about a lot of people you don't know,
If you have been having deja vu,
If you have been having connection with the departed,
If you are communicating with animals and plants...
...all of these are markers that you are experiencing collective soul in your daily life.
We become more One every day.
There are times in our life when we suddenly find ourselves lost.
We are adrift in the fog, and it soon becomes apparent that there isn't a point in even rowing—if we don't know where we are going, how can we row to get there?
If you find yourself in this kind of place, it is okay to relax and not worry about this phase of "lostness".
From a spiritual perspective, this is a sign that you are moving into a new self.
You have already or are now releasing your old self, including past relationships, places, memories and beliefs.
You have already or are now understanding that you don't know what's next.
It's okay to sit adrift in your rowboat for a while, as the fog rolls in from all sides, and simply surrender to this misty, unclear beauty.
If you have been very busy in your life—for many decades, or for months or years—there will naturally arrive a time when the busyness is no longer where you are.
You have entered a time of waiting, releasing and trusting.
You have entered another beautiful experience as a human.

We are in the midst of fierce ideological struggles, and it is not pretty.
Will we be racist or will we be inclusive?
Will we be misogynist or will we be equal?
Will we be violent or will we be peaceful?
Will we be separate or will we be together?
What we are really experiencing, on a soul level, is a great awakening.
Yes, our world seems toxic and negative, extremely so.
But as souls, what we working on is proclaiming our Oneness.
Some people get it.
Some people don't get it yet.
If you are a person who understands we are one collective soul, now is the time to double-down on your spiritual practice, and show up by example and by action.
Be the Light.
Shine the Light.
Practice the Light.
It is a long road to November 2020.
Be sure you are registered to vote.
If you are called to work in politics, do that.
If you are called to have discussions with friends and neighbors, do that.
If you are called to pray, do that.
I often speak to people who long to find their one true soul mate, or who wonder if they have found their soul mate.
But what is the reason we seek soul mates?
From a spiritual perspective, we seek our soul mate because this is the person we have agreed to work on soul lessons with.
Soul mates are people we have karmic crossings with—these are the people we have agreed to work out karma (soul lessons) in this lifetime. We've either been with them for many lifetimes before, or we're meeting them in this lifetime for the first time, but either way, we're here to work out soul lessons.
You notice I don't use the term twin flames? I don't use that term, because I feel it is disempowering. Each soul is a unique expression of earth being. We are not the same as another soul. Our uniqueness is what makes us whole.
Thus, no matter how idyllic or lovely or companionable or passionate or whatever it is you look for in a relationship, if you're with a soul mate, you're working out soul lessons together.
There may be challenges—that is part of working out karma, by sticking with it and growing with the other.
There may be toxicity—that is part of working out karma, by saying no and walking away.
There may be periods of no soul mate—that is part of understanding who you are from your own reflection of yourself.
And finally, remember soul mates are not always romantic: friends, family, animal friends, plants and nature—these are also souls who are helping us on our path.
Opening to your psychic abilities feels like coming home.
It feels like all the puzzle pieces suddenly fit.
The emotions in your heart suddenly make sense.
The wonderings about the future turn into deeply certain knowings.
When we connect with the Universe in this way--through our psychic understanding—what we are really doing is living from our soul, instead from our mind.
Our mind is based on separation, on being "right", on being linear.
Whereas our soul is whole. It is based on Oneness, on allowing.
When you begin to work your life's issues using psychic techniques, it can be surprising how quickly things suddenly fall into place. The rational mind is an older construct. We are learning to live a new way now.
"This commitment to living from soul will take you on an unexpected journey, whether you travel the world or you stay at home.
Whether you meet many people, or only a few.
Whether you achieve worldly success, or live a simple life.
Yet in all cases, this walking on the path in your own way, throwing away the map and letting the Light lead . . . this is walking in the mystery, and it is the sweetest, most profound way to live a life!
The great leap is not into the known.
The great leap is into the mystery.
Take your map out. Look at where they told you that you needed to go.
Now throw the map away and start walking.
Your soul knows the way."--Messages from the Divine
It's often said we are Divine beings having a human experience.
But what does that really mean?
Whenever we accept things as “truth” for a long time, it’s good to step back and take another look. Sometimes looking at “truths” can be uncomfortable, or bring up some resistance—we want to believe what we believe.
But what if we did that?
What if we left out that whole "Divine being" part, and looked at this idea a little plainer, little more stripped down. As in:
"We are souls having a human experience."
Not Divine beings.
It helps us flip this idea around and look at it anew, for two reasons:
• First, souls are not neutral—they have choice. In this way, we can be either souls turned to light. Or we can be souls turned toward dark. The soul has choice.
• Second, our human selves are not neutral either—our human self, which we might call our mind, ego or personality, also has choice. As humans, we can be "good,” which most people think of as kind, compassionate, and loving. Or we can be “bad,” which most people take as mean, cruel and hateful.
We get to choose the orientation of our soul: toward Light or dark.
And we get to choose the orientation of our human self: toward Light or dark.
Nobody is perfect. In fact, most of us are woefully in the middle, perfectly imperfect, walking our path. And yet many of us are leaning toward the Light.
The thing is: it’s complicated, this task of being both soul and human! It’s not as easy to lean toward Light as we might imagine, even if that is our soul’s and personality’s desire.
We are wonderfully imperfect.
We are on the path.
We are leaning to the Light.
That is enough for today.
What is consciousness?
Consciousness is our awareness of "what is", of Universal energy, of Nowness, of God.
It's more than intellectually knowing. It's our deep inner knowing that there is something more and that we are part of this more. There is something more and we are part of it.
This knowing isn’t something that we can be taught. It’s not a mind thing. Instead, it takes hold within us, it is something we are born with, it is something we don’t ever not know.
In the old days, a word for this was faith: having an unshakeable belief in something that can’t be seen.We may not use that term now, but we are practicing faith anyway.
We don’t need intellectual or scientific “proof” to know that our knowing is a true knowing. We see in our own lives, the continued, constant and consistent communication from this indescribable, ineffable MORE that is everything.
God. Universe. One. All. Divine.
All good names, for what we’re trying to express.
And sometimes, just the idea that there is MORE and we are part of it is enough to get us through a rough patch or a dark night.
We hold this deep knowing deep without our innermost hearts, and no amount of convincing will have us known otherwise.
We know this, because we are it.
