Being is the path.
Being is the reason. Being is the way. And the result of being: turning away from distraction and “should” and “must do” and group thought and Misbelief and all the ways you hide from your life in fear…. the result of being is pure joy. It’s nectar. It’s flow. It’s engagement. It’s connection. It’s expansion. It’s love. Surely, these are ways you would like to feel? Not now and then, but all the time? Being is the path. Being is the way. It’s so easy. You might say, it’s so easy it’s hard. You don’t need more success. You don't need more status. You don’t need more stuff. You don’t need a better car or house or clothes or body or whatever it is. That’s all outer shell, distraction, what you’re told will make you happy. When really, all you need is to learn how to be, just for one minute. To drop into full engagement, to fully noticing what’s here right now. And see how that feels. You don’t need to close your eyes, or sit a certain way, or say mantra. Just show up to what is. When you start waking up, when you start becoming conscious… it’s confusing.
You keep getting pulled back and forth between your regular self, with all those distractions and feelings and ups and downs, and your soul self, which is beginning to show you how to live in bliss. You keep moving from regular life, again with all the drama and feelings that arrive there, and soul life, which is a steady infusion of pure love, peace, calm. So you’re getting a taste of what’s there… but you also keep getting yanked back into earth life. This can actually be one of the most frustrating times, this passage where you can see the bliss, taste it, know it… and yet you can’t sustain it all the time. And yet little by little… over weeks, or months or years, something begins to shift. You begin to taste bliss, nirvana, love, peace… whatever you want to call enlightenment… you begin to experience it more often. And you begin to have the experience out of nowhere, on an ordinary day, that everything has suddenly become extraordinary. You stand there, doing the dishes, sitting in the work meeting, driving in traffic, doing your errands— letting the waves of amazingness crash through you. And the more you allow yourself this feeling… the more you receive of this feeling. The confusion fades. Every moment shows up as miracle. And you, fully present to this shift, get to experience it all. When you are fully present, you become exquisitely attuned to the “what is” of everything.
Do you know how it is when you are in nature, noticing everything, when suddenly the wind picks up and the leaves rustle in the air, and a chill goes down your spine because you are so fully there, so incredibly alive in that moment? And you realize that all the thoughts that you had in the moment before you noticed the wind and the leaves and your spine—the looping, distracted worries that were attaching your energy to old times, old places, old people? You realized that in that moment of exquisite noticing, those thoughts simply vanished, went away? And you were fully present, fully alive with simple “what is”: the wind, the leaves, the shiver down your spine. And in this moment of absolute consciousness, exquisite noticing, exquisite sensitivity, you were flooded with feelings of bliss, peace, awe and wonder. This is what it feels like to be living from your soul! So that every little thing… every little thing!... is worthy of holding your most rapt attention, for its beauty, and its profound perfection. What happens when you are fully present, fully engaged? What happens when you are living continually from a state of “being?”
What happens is that you live from your soul. You let your soul self lead. And by doing this, what also happens is that much, most or maybe even all of your thought patterning: the looping into the past; the looping into the old story, the old wound, the old anger; the looping into the future; the fears and the worries of what might happen… All of these patterns and projections, all of these misbeliefs and untruths…they simply dissolve and dissipate. It is not possible to be in a state of full beingness, while at the same time holding on to those old negative thought patterns, or even those future thought projections. The vibrational level that you inhabit when you are “being” does not allow the negative thought patterns to exist. It’s as if they are sifted out, or dropped out. They can’t coexist. As an example: if you are experiencing a very depressive moment, and something comes into your life such a playful animal, or delightful child, or someone hugs you warmly and with full love... … all of these will jolt you out of your negative and depressive thought looping, and bringing you instantaneously into a state of bliss and full beingness. You will instantaneously forget whatever the depressive or low vibration state, because when you are in high vibration state, you see things from an entirely different perspective. From soul perspective. |
