For me, peace means freedom from anxiety—freedom from all the kinds of fears, inner and outer. There's a lot of fear and chaos and darkness in the world, but it is our choice whether we connect with that or not. If you are having a lot of anxiety, flip the coin of your awareness over, and focus on peace. Understanding yourself as an infinite soul helps." And let us make use of them for the world. Let us make use of all of you.”--The 33 Lessons It is very heartening to me, to realize that the Universe does not need us to be good or perfect or self-actualized or whatever it is we think we "should" be.
All we need to be is ourselves. We don't need to hold onto the old ideas that we aren't enough as we are. Because in fact, we are.  Today’s inspiration is from The 33 Lessons: “Not everyone listens in prayer. They pray for what they want, but they do not wait for the answer. What we teach you is about listening for the Divine answer. Many people have forgotten to listen, only to ask.” I love letting the Universe lead, instead of me trying to be in charge.
For one thing, the Universe is a lot smarter than me. It's not as hung up on little stuff. And it has the big picture—it knows my whole story—not just me in this lifetime, but me in all the many lifetimes I've had and will had, and how my soul has moved through those. Same goes for you—the Universe knows you inside and out, past and future, where you've been and where you're going. |
