You may find yourself receiving message when you enter into stillness. Often, messages come unexpectedly, while you are doing easy, relaxed, uncomplicated things: walking, being in nature, waking up from your dreams, journaling, reading, listening to music, simply showing up to where you are and what you are doing, without attachment to any particular idea about how it should or should not be. When you let go of your attachment to how things should be, or must be...this is when you begin to hear Divine messages, which you will recognize as your soul’s truth. How is it, then, that you begin this practice of listening for the sweet whisper of the Universe? How do you begin to learn how to hear this messaging? The answer is simple, and it can be terrifying. How has this happened so quickly? How does the body soften and sag and falter? How have so many years passed with so little accomplished? We say, time is your friend, even as it is fleeting. In every moment, you have this choice: darkness or Light. In every moment, you can choose and you do choose. It is always your choice. We say also, you can choose dark your entire life: every moment, every opportunity, every chance. And then in one moment you can choose Light. When you meditate, you create a portal into Universal knowledge. This portal is created when you meditate for hours, or just for a few minutes. In other words, meditation is the portal that allows you to enter into another layer or level of the Universe; it allows you to experience other dimensions beyond your normal human reality. There are many terms for this. We simply say “entering in.” When you enter in, you access a higher vibrational dimension. This vibration shifts and changes you.
