As part of my focus on spiritual growth in 2020, I am commited to being in nature as much as I can. This means in all weather!
My favorite form of moving meditation isbiking or walking at the nature preserve near my home. Rain, snow, heat—I am out there in all seasons!
It is truly thrilling to be on the path, riding your bike in the snow! It makes you feel like you're 12 years old again—fully yourself and fully connected all at once.
My experience has been is that there is something about moving meditation in nature that shifts us immediately into a state of pure Flow.
Our thought loops quickly come to front of mind where they can be easily dismissed. We begin to experience a sense of expansion. We open to the many consciousnesses that are always available to us. We begin to exist as soul first, rather than ego or personality.
It is not just about endorphins either. It is about tuning into nature itself, knowing ourselves as part of it, and dropping deeply into this Flow state.
Of course, this translates into more Flow state when we come back inside. The more we experience flow, whether this is in meditation or movement or dreams or however we let our selves open, the more this becomes our go-to state.
As some of you may know, I have devoted 2020 to my spiritual growth.
This means I am dropping out of many distractions and duties, and seeking a pure connection to the Universe in all the ways that this can happen.
Of course, I am available to you in all the ways you'd expect—we'll still have our monthly courses, readings, group training—all of it.
However, this year my focus is different. I am seeking to clear, heal, let go and release anything that is no longer serving me. I seek to live from soul essence.
For many years, we have all been releasing "stuff", which has often been our physical stuff, our habits, toxic relationships. This has been a challenging journey, and have all done a good job of this!
And yet now, there is a deeper level or layer that calls me—and I would guess it calls you too.
We want to get really clear from all the thought loops, the misbeliefs, the triggers, the past wounds, the old stuff that fills our memories and our minds, and just step forward so we are not living in that place any more at all.
And we begin to live in freedom, as spiritual beings who truly recognize we are spiritual beings—not the egoic or personality or worldly identity—but truly as souls first.
I don't have a plan for the year, except connecting with the Universe. I'll share what I learn. I know many of you are on this same path this year, and I look forward to hearing about your experience.

We all have deep karma with many people in this lifetime.
We might call these karmic crossings, or say we have karma with a person, or in cases of love, we might say someone is our soul mate or even our twin flame.
The thing to know is this: just because you have karma with someone, does not need you are meant to spend your whole life together.
Karma means soul lessons learned over time.
Karma doesn't mean put a ring on it—or whatever phrase you might use to talk about commitment.
Instead, we are here to work with each other, until we complete our karma—our soul lessons—together. That means:
• When we complete our soul lessons, it's normal for the relationship to end.
• If we are so dysfunctional we can't work on our soul lessons, it's normal for the relationship to end—we'll pick up those soul lessons in the next lifetime.
• When we can cooperate with someone, we can work on our karmic lessons for many years, even a lifetime.
If you are looking at someone as a possible soul mate, look past the ideas of how similar you are, or how you're "twin flames". Look instead at your ability to work with this person, on the karmic lessons you're learning.
To work with someone at the deepest level requires consideration, coorperation, vulnerability, safety, transparency and respect. Those are the characteristics to look for, when you seek your soul mate.

It's easy to get into the habit of feeling we're lost.
We don't know what to do next.
We're not sure where we're going.
We don't understand our path.
However, these statements are incorrect.
You're actually not lost.
You're right here.
You can never be lost on your path, because your karmic way is always unfolding or revealing before you—it's the red thread of destiny, and it's impossible for you to miss anything you need to do or experience, anyone you need to meet or be with, anything you're here to understand.
The Universe leads you to that, without fail.
So you can never be lost.
You can however, be in a state of waiting for what's next. This can feel like being lost.
Remember: we are not here to hurtle through life doing, doing, doing one thing after another with never a moment to pause and reflect and integrate.
If you think you're lost, you're not.
You're just integrating what's happened already.
Your next step will be clear soon.
