It is common to have a sudden experience of Nowness when you are in new settings, doing unfamiliar things: the newness creates a heightened perception of your reality. However, having a peak experience does not require adventure or adrenaline. Rather, peak experiences are often simple and serendipitous, happening when you least expect them. They are experiences of pure presence, and they may be short, such as a few seconds, or long, such as many hours or even days. In peak experiences, you enter a portal that takes you to the bliss state: one of the most expanded states. And you experience this state fully in the environment: fully embodied, eyes wide open, all senses operating."--Messages from the Divine 
"Conversely, when you see things are difficult, stuck, falling away, or moving in to a state of chaos and confusion, trust that you are being guided, moved, nudged, and adjusted into a new position, so that you will have greater understanding.
Often, chaos is what is needed when we have nudged you so many times into what is easy and effortless, and you have resisted! You have been shown the path of Flow over and over again, and yet for whatever reason, you have stayed stuck, resisting this direction. You can only move as freely as your mind is free. You can only move in Flow when your heart is open to this reality. Thus, when you resist Flow and continue to resist Flow, after a certain point you will begin to experience chaos. Chaos arrives to clear you, to bring change when you are unable to change for yourself, to point and nudge and move you into a new direction, even when you have been unwilling to move yourself in that way. This initial journey into stillness isn’t easy: it absolutely brings up tremendous emotion and unease; by taking away all the sensory and emotional load of our distractions, stillness requires that we look at and sit with and feel what we really feel. Stillness helps us know our truth. When you find yourself in a very busy life, you can be sure that you have strayed from your soul path. The soul is not here to check off to-do lists. The soul is here to expand, and to understand, and to participate in the Now. You can’t get to Now from a to-do list. They pull you out of complacency, stuckness, stubbornness, fear, and invite you to open your heart to its fullest capacity. Thus, when an event “happens” to you out of nowhere, unexpected even when you have been following signs and synchronicities, pay attention! When you experience an event, understand it is the Universe guiding you in a very direct way! An event may be seen as the Universe communicating directly with you, by shifting the course of your destiny, disrupting the previous pattern of your life so that you may move forward more quickly in the process of your soul growth. We ask that you open your windows and you make yourself available to your Divine helpers, and to all of the Universe, and to do this in the simplest way available. At the beginning, ten minutes may be all you can manage, before the looping thoughts and crushing world invade your awareness once again. . In asking, the process is begun. In reality, this feast of life is only bliss, nirvana, the shuddering of pure grace. It is ecstasy, to become aware of this life! This nectar of the sky, the winds, the air! This ecstasy of the earth, the plants, the stones! This grand expanse of earth: all of it and all it contains! Created by Light, for your immersion and your enjoyment. Created by Light, so you as Light can be here and feel it. So you can feel it all, with your bare feet on the ground and your lungs gasping in that sweet air, your arms outstretched to become one with the trees, the birds singing in your ears. And this is just one moment! The next moment: the rub of you and all humanity, on a bus, on a subway, all those hearts beating, all that awareness, the continuous pounding of one soul, One Soul, in a space together, everyone feeling and knowing what everyone feels and knows! — Messages from the Divine |
