Daily Divine: Why it’s easier to live in the Light.

Today's Daily Divine is from The 33 Lessons: 

“The energies in themselves are neither good nor bad.
They are merely energies that you, soul in human form, mind in body, experience.
Yet because you are human, the darker energies are harder to navigate, just as it would be hard to walk through a river of mud.
This is why you choose the Light. You can move through it more quickly.”

I think about this idea a lot whenever I am in a situation where I am feeling: 
• pain
• anger
• confusion
• anxiety
• negativity
• stuckness

Whenever I start to feel these feelings, I remember this idea about dark energies, and how dark energies and emotions feel like slogging through the  mud. 

I can stay in the mud—or I can shift  my attention to seomthing Lighter, easier, more fun, nicer, kinder. 

​We can't always control the events or energies or people in our lives. 
But we can decide what we experience.
