Daily Divine: Being that person.

​We’re all given the same amount of time in a day. But you might notice that some people have a knack for inhabiting their time, in a way that creates really interesting experiences.

For example, one person might get up at the last alarm, go to work, come home and spend the evening watching TV.

Another person, with the exact same job, might get up early to meditate, stop by a class or community event or go for a run or visit a friend or work on art after work.

The person who is having more interesting experiences, not just now and then, but daily, is actually the person who is enjoying his or her life more.

You might not be able to quit your day job; you might also not be able to slack on family responsibilities after work. But somewhere in there, are some precious hours that you can call your own, to do what interests you, what you feel passionate about, that will carry you forward to the next day in joy.

And you know: the more you live as if, the more the Universe moves to shift your life to that reality permanently.
