You probably know someone who answered their soul’s calling at a young age—they knew what they wanted to do, and they've continued on this path.
Maybe this is you. Maybe it's not. Or maybe you used to be like this. But now you're not sure. The advantages of answering your destiny early are many: you get to master your craft, you get to complete the work you’re here to do, you get to go deeper in your understanding. But what if, like so many of us, you don’t know what you want to do? Or you once did—but now you seem to be on pause. Or, even a little bit lost. Perhaps you’re older—in mid-life and beyond, and suddenly you’re not sure of where your soul is calling you now? In The 33 Lessons, one of the lessons is “You are what you do.” In other words, if you are actively painting, you are a painter; if you are actively writing, you are a writer; if you are actively gardening you are a gardener; and so on. It’s as simple as not quite knowing what the next thing is, and then doing it anyway. Not over thinking it. Not dithering and dallying. Not wringing your hands over why you can't. Simply doing what's in front of us. Seeing what happens next. As souls, sometimes we’re clear we’re on our path. Sometimes we’re floundering. Yet, the path is always there, whether it’s what we expected or not. Sometimes, the best idea is to start with what’s in front of you. Lost, uncertain, wounded, afraid—and starting anyway. There is no wrong first step. Much love, SARA P.S. Discover ALL of our SELF-STUDY COURSES! Comments are closed.
