Subscribe here Calibrating to Now The soul exists in Now. When our mind starts running around in all the circles, we can take a pause and become aware of present moment—what is actually happening Now. What’s actually happening? What’s actually occurring? What is the true present situation? What’s the real reality here? Now, it’s very interesting, because we can be in many realities at once. There’s never any one reality. There’s always another dimension. And yet we can find Nowness wherever we are. So much of this work we do is in etheric realms. When we journey, we are traveling in time, space, matter and other dimensional realities. And yet, it’s never hard to sense what is Now. In this work, we are asked to seek soul truth. We might clearly see what happened in the past. We might reveal what has been hidden. We might see the truth in a clouded situation. We can see energetically, emotionally, spiritually, karmically, dimensionally. So even as we are journeying in time and space, within many dimensions all at once, we are always seeking present moment awareness of the time, space or dimension we are in. We are always seeking the truth of Now. We can always be here Now, wherever Now is. When we are walking in the forest we can find Now. When we are in meditation we can find Now. Now is always Now. And, when you mix things up dimensionally, Now is still constant. So, if you are walking in the forest and you are also in meditation, you are in Now in two dimensions simultaneous—earth realm (forest) and etheric realm (meditation). You can find yourself at a kind of crossroads of earth and etheric, and find Now there. Wherever you go, there you are. This includes wherever you find yourself in earth reality and wherever your travel in etheric realms, across all dimensions. So you always have the ability to calibrate yourself to Now, which is present moment, whatever dimensions you are traveling in, and even when you are existing in several dimensions at once. When are we not in Now? We’re always in Now, but we can forget this. We have to keep remembering to be present. We have to keep remembering we’re soul. So, when we’re in one place, but our mind is in another, we are not present. Spiraling in memory, rehashing the past, fantasizing or projecting into the future are all ways we are not in Now. So are all kinds of distractions and drama. How can we get to Now instantly? Some people like to use the breath. It’s a very quick bridge. Some people like to ground. If that works for you, do that. Or, you can just take a pause and become aware. What’s really happening? What actually occurring? What is temporary and unimportant? What is infinite and lasting? All or any of these will calibrate you to Now. Much love, SARA P.S. I'm teaching spiritual intuition weekly on Youtube! Subscribe! Watch the VIDEO here
Working with ego We spend much of our life clinging to our attachments. We attach to the past. We attach to relationships. We attach to false ideas about who we are. We attach to false ideas about who we should become. It’s not wrong to mull and ponder over all of our experiences. What gets us into trouble is ego cling. Remember: The ego does not care about your soul awakening. The ego just wants to be in charge. This means: The ego will cling to anything that lets it run the show. The ego will cling to anything that keeps it in control. This isn’t good or bad. It’s what is. So we can learn to work with that. We don’t need to get rid of the ego. We don’t need to quiet it or subdue it. Instead, we can learn to work with it. Recall: we can’t get rid of ego. Ego is part of the package that makes us human. We can no more climb out of our body. Some people call ego shadow. That’s a way to think of it. But lots of ego is not dark at all. Lots of ego is what creates our joyous, friendly, open self. Or our motivated, focused, hardworking self. Or our quirky, sensitive, curious self. The key is: we get to choose how much ego leads. When it’s useful, we can let ego lead. When it’s not useful, we can let soul lead. Ego thinks it in charge, but soul is really in charge. There’s no contest or argument. Just knowing this can help. Your ego can either pull you forward. Or drag you back. The key is: you get to decide. The part of you that is soul gets to decide. Ego is not an unruly monster. The shadow is not more powerful. Even when we are in our darkest moments, we have choice. Ego is like a small, willful child. Easily distracted to the next shiny thing. Keeping mind/ego/personality busy is easy. We can work with this. Much love, SARA P.S. Remembering who you are We are here to become the true self. The true self is our infinite self. The true self is our soul. This is not news to anyone, but: • Body is finite—we will certainly die. • Mind/ego/personality is finite—we change every lifetime. • Soul is the only part of us that lasts. So we might as well work on the part of ourselves that is the most real, the only thing that never ends: our infinite self. For many of us, learning to live from soul is what this lifetime is all about. This is our reason for being. It’s really a choice, isn’t it? To distract ourselves with surface stuff that doesn’t last. Or to actually focus on what matters—experience ourselves as soul. Once you reach a certain point on your spiritual path, you find a lot of what’s in the world doesn’t matter. It’s all just temporary. It’s all going to be gone soon enough. And, you can’t take it with you. Not your stuff. Not your body. Not even your mind. Once you reach a certain point on your spiritual path, you start to detach from the temporary. The me/my/mine loses its intrigue. The personality quirks and drama seem unimportant. The clamor of ego and its desire fades out. We’re left with our soul self. Trying to figure out that relationship. Trying to live as soul in the world. Because of course, there’s life. So many distractions will claim our focus. So many worldly details will require our attention. The trick is to hold all that—be in it fully—and yet still remember who we really are. This is just life, isn’t it? Most of us will find ourselves spending a lot of time and energy in the worldly parts of life: family, relationships, work. There are many distractions from the Divine self, and this is okay. At different parts of our life we will certainly find ourselves dealing with the practical, the mundane. We’re also certainly going to spend time with the false, the fantasy, the dark, the destructive. We are not here to live on clouds. We here to live in the world as it is. We are dropped in to a particular life in a particular part of the world, with particular people and situations, and this is what we must deal with. Life is as we find it. Not as we desire it, but as it is today. As we engage with what is real, we work at remembering we are soul. Much love, SARA P.S. Signup NOW for INTUITION UNIVERSITY SPRING 2023! |
