Part of being awake in the world is understanding that our lives are filled with millions of beautiful, astonishing, astounding experiences.
Miracles, you might say, in their ability to open our hearts and help us know who we are.
If you have not had one of these miracle moments in a while, why not allow yourself to have one today?
The Universe is at your service. All you need to do is ask.

If we are grateful, if we give thanks—does this make us "good"?
Does this mean we are further on the spiritual path than someone else?
No, it does not.
Remember: there is no hierarchy of souls.
One soul is not "good" while another soul is "bad", regardless of our actions here on earth.
All souls are perfect. Messages from the Divine
That's the Divine part of us. But in the earthly, worldly, day-to-day part, the part where our very Divine soul inhabits our very earthly human container, being grateful can help us on our path.
Gratitude helps, because it lifts vibration.
When we raise vibration, even if just for a moment, we become aware.
When we become aware, even if just for a moment, we remember who we really are.
Whenever you are deeply grateful for your human experience—the good, the bad, the all of it—you open your consciousness a little bit more.
Over time, you start to live in grace.
P.S. Join us for THE GRATITUDE PROJECT, a 28-day immersion. Just $15!
What happens when we create ritual?
When we use fire, sage, sound or scent to represent our spiritual intention?
When we mark an event or understanding in a serious and meaningful way?
What I have found, is that ritual creates magic.
It is the clearest way to let the Universe know that you are deeply, deeply grateful.
It is taking a moment in the fabric of the Universe—sliding between the layers and levels of all the dimensions—and recognizing what a great gift it is to be here.
If you have not created ritual lately, it might be time.
You can create ritual to say thank you, or you can create ritual to remember, or you can create ritual to release.
There is no special way to do it, either.
Fire, sage, sound and scent are common markers.
But you can do whatever works for you—it is a creative, unique process.
Perhaps a ritual is waiting for you today.

We have all been through so much the last few years.
As a soul collective, we've had immense challenges and changes.
And sometimes, we need a little support.
We need to take a pause, and regroup and recall who we really are.
And determine once again, why we're here.
Even when times are challenging—in fact, especially when times are challenging—we do better when we gather together as collective soul, and recall our purpose.
We're here for joy!
We're here for connection!
We're here for meaning!
But sometimes, we need help remembering.
If you seek support on your path, I invite you to participate in The Gratitude Project, a 28-day spiritual community course that begins in April. It's just $15!
For 28 days, we'll immerse ourselves in gratitude.
We'll release our narrative.
We'll relax our negativity.
We'll give thanks for every little thing.
We'll lift each other up together.

What do you find meaningful in your life?
What really matters to you?
If you ask most people what matters to them, you might expect these answers:
"My family matters most."
"My relationships matter most."
"My work matters most."
"My health matters most."
Of course, all of these are very important—they are worthy of mattering.
And yet what's not on this list, might be what you find the most important of all:
How you experience this lifetime.
Not the way you think about your experiences.
Not the narrative or story you tell.
But how you experience life, moment to moment to moment, every moment as Now.
If you have a chance today, to engage in a Now moment that is breathtaking in its beauty and wholeness, how wonderful would that be?

We sometimes think that being "spiritual" means we have to say "yes" to everyone.
That it's our job as lightworkers to continually move our own needs aside so that we can help and heal everyone. Except, that's not what we're here for.
Empathic burnout is a very real thing.
Sensitive people—intuitives, seekers, healers, introvert—are often taken advantage of by those who are less sensitive.
The thing is, this isn't just the fault of the extrovert or bully or crazymaker.
The problem is shared by the person allowing the behavior.
We're all meant to have boundaries: physical, verbal, emotional, spiritual. As a spiritual person, as a helper and healer and lightworker, having boundaries is a part of your soul growth.
You don't have to say "yes" to everyone.
In fact, saying "no" may be exactly the next step you need to take.

Each of us has already transited many passages in our lives:
• Childhood, adolescence, young adulthood.
• Our 20s, 30s, 40s.
• Our 50s, 60s, 70s.
• Our 80s and beyond.
Each of these passages, not measured in decades but nine-year cycles, calls for a new approach—we are invited to enter into the next stage of our life. And this can be scary or thrilling, joyous or sad—but most of all it is unknown.
We don't know what will happens when we leave behind who we were, and embark upon this next passages. Yet we have to go anyway.
As you consider where you are in your own passage of life today, remember that we don't just evolve individually—we also evolve collectively.
Today is the day Uranus, the planet of ultra-progression enters Taurus, the planet of ultra-stability, and will remain there until July 2025.
It's a very big shift.
We're all changing together.

Part of being a sensitive, awakened person is that we want to help others.
This is only natural—as souls, our purpose is to help other souls.
Yet sometimes we come to place where we mistakenly think that helping others is more important than helping ourselves.
"I just want to HELP," I commonly hear people say, when they discover their gifts in healing, intuition and spirituality. Again, it's a natural, correct and generous feeling.
And yet sometimes, we need to focus on ourselves.
It's very easy as an intuitive and empath (which all of you are) to see with laser-like focus what's out of balance in someone else's life. We spot the problem immediately, and we want to help, we want to fix, and sometimes we even want to save.
But this can become a distraction.
Sometimes, we become so aware of what's going on for others, we forget to look at what's going on for us.
If you believe that your sole purpose is to HELP others, you might take a small step back from this view, and check in with yourself.
Is there anything in your life that needs to balance?
Is there anything going on that needs resolving?
Do you need some healing?
Do you need some rest?
When we take care of ourselves, we become stronger and more whole. And when we lift ourselves, we also lift everyone.
P.S. Sign up soon for Spiritual Psychic Spring 2019. We're nearly full!
A lot of times as sensitives, we like to withdraw from the world.
The energy gets to be overwhelming, and it feels better to get all hygge on it—the Danish term for everything cozy and comfy and homey.
It is great to nestle into our favorite spaces and do quiet internal things.
But sometimes... that isn't enough.
Sometimes going quiet or going internal is a way of distracting ourselves from the true reality that it's time to make some changes in our life.
Especially in winter, when it is very easy to get very comfortable staying in, we can find ourself not just comforted by our quiet pursuits—but stuck in them.
The idea is not to change your personality—it is a true gift to be sensitive!
The bigger question is if our internal ways are serving us, or hiding us.
If you've been holing up or hiding out this winter, you might meditate on these four questions:
• What's working in my life?
• What's not working?
• What's trying to change?
• What must change?
And just see what shows up for you.

So many of you have written recently about your experience with deja vu with the places you've travelled, that I wanted to share further.
I suspect many of us are time travelers.
Many of us astral project in our dreams—we travel to distant lands, sometimes familiar but more often half-remembered when we awaken.
We visit people we know-but-don't-know in our dreams—people who come from past lives or other karmic crossings.
And we shift into different times—ancient TIbet, or Germany or wherever and whenever it is that you tend to often visit.
We call it dreaming.
But what's really happening is that we are time traveling—we are astrally projecting in time and space.
And of course, if we can do this in dreamtime, we can do it meditation.
Which is something you can easily learn.
It's wonderful, it's fascinating—and once you're doing this as a practice, you understand how limitless this life as a soul can be.

dASK SARA RADIO is back with FREE READINGS WEDNESDAY!
We talk a lot about consciousness—what it feels like to be conscious, and how spiritual awakening happens.
Many of you started to notice an increase in your awareness around the Shift at the end of 2012. It's as if everything amped up—you felt more intuitive, more empathic, more connected.
But now we're in 2019.
And the Shift isn't a shift any more.
It's the new status quo.
Which means that whereas before you received information from one dimension—but now, there's information coming in from everywhere, from multi dimensions.
You sense more.
You feel more.
You exist in the middle of everything happening all at once, and you know it all without even trying.
Welcome to spontaneous enlightenment.
It is a hallmark of 2019.
And there is more to come.
P.S. NEW advanced family karma course, Healing for Dysfunctional Families, just $15!
So many of you are empaths, intuitives, sensitives—which means you spend a lot of time living in the etheric realms.
You might spend a lot of your time betwixt the worlds, so that you are "disassociating" and going instead to visit:
• Guides and Angels
• Other spirit beings
• The Departed
• Past and future lives
Or maybe you are very good at astral projection—you travel far and wide in your dream time, or in your meditation, or maybe just when you are spacing out and relaxing.
You're more "there" than here.
This is normal for sensitives--you don't need to change anything. We are used to living between the worlds—living as soul first, human second.
However, if this is causing you any anxiety, which it sometimes does, one immediate fix is to get grounded. To literally, to do something earthing with nature—barefoot on the sand, barefoot in the dirt.
This will bring an immediate shift to NOW, that will help you return into your body, and connect with everything that you love here.
Plus, it's just fun to go barefoot, isn't it?
P.S. We're starting a NEW course for February: Healing for Dysfunctional Families. Just $15.
ASK SARA RADIO is back with FREE READINGS WEDNESDAY!
Have you ever intentionally experienced a slowing down of life's pace?
This being "off schedule," when you're not sick or laid up, but instead intentionally taking a break from your normal responsibilities and patterns, quickly creates new understanding.
In Cuba, we stayed at a private home in Guanabo a few blocks from the beach. It was stormy during our visit—not safe for swimming. So we sat under the covered veranda as the rain fell, and we played dominos.
Anyone can learn to play dominos—beginner to master. It's a game for four people, designed for idle hours, when you have time to talk and linger.
We spent many hours with the tiles as the rain fell, and during this time of enforced idleness, I began to recall the sweetness of life not centered around the internet, "to do" lists, responsibilities.
It's good to be focused, to be committed to your soul work.
It's also good to not take it all seriously, to have pursuits and pasttimes that are simply for your pleasure.
As the New Year begins, with all that resolution and gung-ho motivation, it's good to recall what happens when we do very little, and allow ourselves to enjoy it.

P.S. Do you seek a READING or Clarity Coaching for the New Year?
While traveling last month, month, we had a chance to visit my son-in-law's art studio in the heart of Havana.
He's been a painter most of his life—one of those people who answered his soul's calling at a young age.
The advantages of answering your destiny early are many: you get to master your craft, you get to complete the work you're here to do, you get to go deeper in your understanding.
But what if, like so many of us, you don't know what you want to do?
Or maybe you used to know, but now you're older—in midlife and beyond, and suddenly you're not sure of where your soul is calling you now?
In The 33 Lessons, one of the lessons is "You are what you do." In other words, if you are actively painting you are a painter, if you are actively writing you are a writer, if you are actively gardening you are a gardener, and so on.
It's as simple as not quite knowing what the next thing is, and then to begin doing it anyway.
As souls, sometimes we're clear we're on our path. Sometimes we're lost.
Yet the path is always there, whether it's what you expected or not.
Sometimes the best idea is to start with what's in front of you.
Chances are good, that is your right first step.
P.S. Do you seek a Reading or Clarity Coaching to start the New Year?
One of the things I did in Cuba was visit Ernest Hemingway's home.
I've long been fascinated by the expat writers of the 1920s: Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Stein, Dos Passos, Cummings, and I was thrilled to visit "Finca Vigia", which means lookout house.
It's a true compound: acres of gated privacy and palm trees, a large house, servants' quarters, lookout tower, outbuildings, patios, a swimming pool, even a fishing boat in dry storage.
As we were on a private tour, I got a chance to tune into the energy of Hemingway's spirit—it's a practice I know many of you also do, when you are in places where famous people have lived.
Most of his energy was condensed in his writing room—Hemingway wrote at a standing desk while standing on an animal skin, so as to be imubed with the animal's power. He drank while he wrote, and when he could not write anymore, he rested on a bed with a dark blue coverlet.
As I tuned into the energy of his objects and his spirit, my first sense was of his dominant personality, which did not surprise me. Under that was need for compulsive organization, a kind of obsession of doing things "the right way." Under that, a sense of being lost—this was something he did not want to show. And under that, the despair of never feeling understood.
This is what I received, my own impression outside of all the many anecdotes about him.
I felt compassion for his suffering, and wished him healing in his next life—I imagine he's reincarnated already, and is here among us.
Hemingway was one of the most acclaimed writers of his time—world-renowned for his adventures, a personality bigger than life. And yet a person working on his soul growth.
As we all are.
P.S. Are you seeking a Reading or Clarity Coaching to start the New Year?
Many of you who are empaths and sensitives, don't love traveling.
The changes to routine and surroundings can be very jarring.
Traveling tends to put us in a world of chaos.
It can be overwhelming and unravelling.
And yet, it's exactly that kind of chaos that also opens us up.
Recently, I visited my daughter and her husband in Cuba, and experienced the shifting and opening that came from new experiences.
We stayed four stories (eight flights) up in the heart of Havana, in a crumbling old building that looked over the entire town.
All day, the streets were loud with life and chatter. The woman in the rooftop next to us washed jeans and tee shirts and hung them to dry. A man lowered the laundry up and down with a rope and pulley. Street hawkers called out their wares. On another rooftop, a man spent hours barbequing—even though much of his patio was charred to black.
All night, the streets were louder—filled with shouting and laughter as people headed back from their nightly stroll on Le Malecon, the seawall that borders downtown.
The city never slept, save for a few hours before dawn, when all went still— the Amrit Vela, when the veil is thinnest between the worlds.
I sat up in bed and meditated in the quiet, until the sun rose in the east, and a new day began.
I was not in a place I understood.
Yet I was still a soul, as are we all.
P.S. Are you seeking a Reading or Clarity Coaching for the New Year?
It's tricky to just sit with the new year.
Around now, you might be feeling a bit blah or uncertain now that the holidays are over—a bit confused about what's next, or where you should put your attention, or what to focus on.
When we feel like this, we tend to want to slap on some New Year's resolutions.
We get all revved up, and vow to lose this weight.
We get all goal-oriented, and vow stop this habit.
But this approach has always felt unreal to me.
We're still souls, no matter what the scale says.
We're still souls, no matter what our habits are.
It's really about integrating our whole selves, rather than shaming parts of us.
What I like to do around this time of year—instead of resoultions—is to take another pass through The 33 Lessons.
All beautifully recorded so you can listen on any device, and then ponder or contemplate or muse in meditation or by writing in your journal.
I've done this virtual retreat every January for years now, and I find it's a great way to get myself back on track and regroup my spiritual self. No resolutions required.
P.S. Sign up here for The 33 Lessons virtual retreat, just $10.
2019 is The Year of Creative Collaboration. It is a THREE year.
In numerology, three corresponds to creativity, innovation and collaboration.
In 2018, The Year of Collective Soul, we started to understand that we are connected—that we are are One collective soul.
But in 2019, we move beyond our awareness of Oneness and into creative collaboration—we learn how to work together as souls.
Thus, in 2019, we begin to learn how to SOLVE PROBLEMS using all the connecting tools at our disposal--social media, political activism and spiritual telepathy.
Some key aspects of 2019:
Social media refines itself. In 2019, we lose interest in fake news, political jockeying, trolling and celebrity drama. When the negativity becomes dull, we can use this tool in a positive way. We begin to see that we can really connect with others on the planet—we begin to reach out, and we find other souls waiting to connect with us as well.
We lose our addiction to politics. In 2019, we lose interest in political drama. We wake up, and we're suddenly just over it. This does not refer to any one person or party—it's all of it. Collectively, we stop paying attention to pundits and begin take matters into our own hands. We lead ourselves, rather than waiting to be led. This sets the stage for a new kind of politics in 2020.
We problem solve together. We begin to exchange ideas and work collaboratively toward solutions, in a way that has not happened on this planet yet. This is a great leap forward for humanity! This creative collaboration and willingness to problem solve together is the hallmark trend of 2019. Watch for scientific and social breakthroughs in areas that affect the mass of humanity, such as water, weather, food, health, safety and emotional wellness.
Women step into power. In 2019, younger women begin to show up in business and politics, and as social influencers and thought leaders. 2019 marks the beginning of the end of the old guard, the old patriarchy. This is far more than #metoo. It is women stepping into their power en masse, to find out they are natural leaders.
Minorities step into power. Along with women stepping into power, minorities (race, gender, age, ability) become politically active in unprecedented numbers. This changes the politics of the nation, and is the beginning of a new political system where there are multiple political parties, not just a few.
Migration continues. Many people are forced to move due to climate change, natural disasters, and violence, and we begin to recognize the fallacy of national borders. This is a very difficult passage in 2019, filled with confusion and missteps. This is world wide. We are in the infancy of understanding that nationalism is a dying concept.
Weather communicates. Gaia has spoken, and many of us are listening. Because we are finally listening, Gaia no longer needs to shout to get our attention with natural disasters and weather systems. These weather extremes continure—but they are different, they feel different. We start to understand they are energy fields that are communicating with us. We start to work with them, rather than resisting them. We start to communicate with Gaia as part of ONE soul.
Money shifts form. Many are holding their breaths waiting for the next big crash, but it is important to remember that what is in the past does not reflect what arrives from the future. We have the ability to evolve and not repeat past mistakes. New currency and payment systems are created outside of banks, credit cards and stock markets.
Cannabis expands. Recreational pot becomes legal in more places world wide, and many of those using it experience expanded consciousness for the very first time. This especially is true of older people who have never experienced consciouness before. CDB becomes recognized as a healing agent, which paves the way for awareness of other plant-based healing agents.
Time feels different. Time has been shifting for a few years, and we are starting to feel it. The way we experience it is both slower and faster. When we need more time, it slows down so that we can accomplish what we need. We have a new feeling of spaciousness—there is no longer a need to rush .And yet when we try to recall the day or week or month prior, it all seems very fast. In 2019, we begin to exist in a new dimension of time.
We feel our Oneness. This began in 2012, but now it's palpable. We just feel differently, as if we are part of something bigger. We don't feel as separate. This is Oneness, and this feeling grows in 2019. It's talked about in social media and it is also noticed by your family and friends—even those you least expected to become conscious.
We become more telepathic. We notice that we can read every person, animal, plant or object we come across. This is not new, but it is exponentially expanded. We let go of superstitions about bad energies or the need to protect from others. We moved from fear into love.
We worry less and are happier. After the stress of the last few years, we collective just let go of the insanity. We decide that worry and anxiety are not what we're here for. We move forward with clarity and without fear. We do what needs to be done.
2019, The Year of Creative Collaboration, contains a collective power that we have not yet seen. This is a very good year, and the beginning of many positive changes for humanity and the planet.
Collectively, it is a great year for working together, collaborating on problems and coming up with creative solutions.
Personally, it is a great year for letting go of anxiety and fear, feeling this new sense of Oneness, and trusting that the Universe is supporting you.
P.S. We're starting The 33 Lessons this January, just $10. Join us!
Planet Earth takes 365 days to orbit the sun.
And New Year's Day is when we mark it.
Soon, we'll be starting another 365 days.
Another 8760 hours.
Another 525600 minutes.
Who knows what will happen to each of us, in the next minutes, hours and days, on this next journey around the sun?
What will we learn?
What will we experience?
How will we feel?
Who will we love?
The poet Mary Oliver is famous for asking what we plan to do with our "one wild and precious life?"
It is an excellent question to start considering now, as we prepare for the next planetary sojourn.
Some questions to ask yourself right now:
• Who do I want to be?
• Who do I want to stop being?
• What do I want to experience?
• How do I want to feel?
P.S. Sign up now for The 33 Lessons, just $10!
Love is the gift today.
You can't buy it.
You can't wrap it.
All you can do is give it.
And, of course—you can let yourself receive it.
Wherever you are, whoever you're with, whatever you're doing—I wish you a heart filled with love this Christmas.
The darkest night of the year gives way to Light.
It is a time of celebration, gratitude and HOPE.
P.S. The holidays are a great time to Release Yourself from Family Karma, just $10!
Are you feeling overwhelmed right now?
Because it's really easy to let the holidays take over your life.
You might find yourself busy with shopping or preparations.
You might find yourself attending more events..
You might find yourself traveling more.
And even if you're NOT particularly busy?
You might find yourself surrounded by people who are.
The stress level starts to creep up—whether it's your stress or everyone else's.
We feel tired, cranky, confused and most of all, we feel like we've lost ourselves.
Because we have.
The thing is:
The Universe doesn't care how well you "do" the holidays.
The Universe just wants you to connect with everything as One.
That's all that needs to be on your list.
I am so honored to be interviewed by Madisyn Taylor, co-founder of DailyOM, about family karma—what it is, why we have it and how we can heal it.
Madisyn Taylor: Sara, what is family karma?
Sara Wiseman: Our family karma refers to the soul lessons we're here to work on with our family members plus anyone who is part of a blended family. Karma isn't a curse or something we can't change--it's an active, expanding awareness that we can shift and heal with our intention. In this way, working with the karma we have with our family members is a life journey that holds astounding lessons. In fact, our family is often where we find our greatest teachers.
We have big karma with our family because our family is what we're born into for this lifetime. They're the souls we'll first meet, the ones we'll be raised with, and who we'll know for our whole lives. Our family also provides the culture or lineage we're born into--it's where and who we come from and what we first identify with. Because we're with our family so closely for so many years, it's the perfect "soul petri dish" for us to learn our soul lessons. And of course, that's the same reason we find our family relationships to be so "sticky." There's so much to work on, and we're destined to work on these same lessons, with the same people, for many years.
MT: Why is it important to release yourself from family karma?
SW: If you don't release yourself from family karma, you can't become free. At some point, every conscious person has to come to grips with their family of origin--at whatever level of drama and dysfunction--and figure out how they can heal. And while this can be intensive inner work, it has enormous value and wisdom when you break through to the other side. Our family often teaches us our biggest soul lessons--the most important karma we're here to work on this lifetime. With soul lessons, you can't go around them, you can't escape them--you have to go through them. Releasing ourselves from family karma is a process that takes us from anger and pain to compassion and healing.
The thing to remember is that almost every family has dysfunction. This could be in the form of really big issues such as abuse of any kind--physical, sexual, emotional. Unfortunately, this is really common. But there's also everyday drama--maybe we don't get along, we fight or disagree, or we carry old grudges. All of this--the hurts, wounds, drama, and dysfunction--are issues we're asked to work through as soul lessons... (more)

When we're young, we think that it matters what we wear, what we do, where we travel or what experiences we have.
But none of it really matters.
It's fun to wear cool clothes.
It's nice to have interesting work.
It's expanding to travel.
It's desirable to have experiences.
But what we seek from all of these outer aspects—even those we find useful and interesting—well, it's all just story.
Body, personality, belief, experience—these are not our essence.
They're our characteristics and our history.
But they're not us.
Souls are what we really are, and all that matters to souls is our direct connection with the Universe.
So the question is: how much of THAT have you had today?

I like to fly under the radar when I'm out in the world—I put on my blanket of invisibility and don't broadcast the fact that I'm psychic.
You who are also intuitives, sensitives, mystics and empaths—you probably know this cloaking strategy well.
We often don't broadcast our psychic abilities, because we've had so many past lives where being "different" was dangerous.
But things are different now.
Consciousness has become contagious.
More and more people are suddenly "catching" intuition.
They're experiencing spiritual awakening.
They're becoming more psychic.
When you recall that what lifts one lifts All, you know that when one of us becomes conscious, the whole soul collective expands.
If you are feeling like you're having more moments of awakening—more than usual, bigger than before—trust this feeling.
It's what's happening to everyone right now.
