When we talk about living Flow, what do we mean?
Well, think about the most amazing day you've ever had, where all the red lights turned green, where you found a parking spot right away, where every person helped you out, where everything was simple, easy and effortless. This is Flow—a way of living and being that puts you right smack in the middle of Universal energy, so that instead of pushing against the forces that be, you are moving in accord with them. You can ready more about Flow in Messages from the Divine. But the big secret about Flow is this: You don't get there by manifesting. You don't get there by Law of Attraction. You don't get there by "doing" in any way. Instead, Flow demands that you allow yourself to be guided by the Universe—to enter a state of complete and utter surrender so that you are NOT doing what your ego or mind wants, but you are INSTEAD following what the Universe offers to you. Weird, amiright? Counterintuive, yes? Not what we've been told, correct? And yet, this is how it works. We get into Flow when we let go of all control, surrender down and let ourselves be guided. And it is a beautiful, beautiful place to be. Much love, SARA Are you a person who enjoys stillness and quiet?
Who loves to just hang out and "be" and not do anything in particular? Who loves private time? I sure am. However, just because that's my personality style—I'm a card-carrying introvert, as I'm sure many of you are—it doesn't mean I get to live in my own little Shangrila of Solitude. Nope. Just like you, my life is filled with all the noise and chaos and drama of everything-and-everyone-all-the-time. So, what I try to do is make sure I get my Stillness Fix, every single day. No matter what, I carve out a little spot of quiet time for myself every 24 hours, in which I might connect with the Guides, do some journaling, sit in nature, or just do nothing in particular at all. And what I always find, is that these moments spent in stillness and in connection with All That Is, creates more change in myself and my life than all of the hours of busyness. Being brings me to greater understanding than doing. Is this the same for you? Much love, SARA What happens when we meditate?
Does it really matter? Does it actually change us? Does it even work? Basically, what happens—whether you have a formal sitting practice, or you do the type of medtiation that I teach that I call intuitive gathering—is that meditations changes you. It changes you instantly, and it change you over time. It changes your body, by changing your physiology and hormones as you breathe. But it also changes you as a soul, by connecting you to Divine source. When we connect in to the energy of the Universe, to God/One/All/Source, we for a moment are able to glimpse, feel and understand this energy of everything, and we are able to know ourselves as part of it. Meditation helps us know that we are not separate. Not just as an idea, but as a radical truth that can never be taken from us. If you have a moment right now, you can meditate. What if you did that? Just close your eyes, take a breath in through nose, out through the mouth. And then relax in that stillness. Let your thoughts deal with themselves. And feel yourself a part of everything, for as long as you want to stay in. When you come back to this page, I can assure you that you will feel more open and connected. Much love, SARA |
