Lately, I've noticing a lot of folks feeling discomfort around change.

They're afraid to change.
They're afraid to move out of a status quo that isn't working—and that they  know isn't working. This might be career, relationships, moving, anything.

I wonder why we become fearful, when it is time to change?
I wonder what is about group thought that sets us up to be afraid when we are making change?

Is it fear of failure? Well, of course we're going to fail repeatedly—many times in this lifetime. This is reality for all of us. So why is it a problem?

Is it fear of success? Do we fear that if we succeed, we'll have to let go of situations and relationships that aren't coming along for the ride? Again, we all know this is just how it works.

Understand that your comfort zone is temporary—that try as you might you simply can't stay in bed with covers pulled over your head—and that change and growth are the realities.

This can help, if you feel fear at the aspect of change.
