It's easy to have compassion for a wounded animal, or a plant that hasn't been watered. So why do we have so much trouble having compassion for EACH OTHER?

Why do we see a person suffering, and often react with rage and blame?

And, why do we have some much trouble having compassion for OURSELVES?

I'd love to hear your comments on this—what do you think?

Here's an excerpt from Messages from the Divine:

“You have been taught that the compassionate heart—that this was the heart of grace.

Yet we say: the heart must be bursting with not just compassion, but transformed by grace into pure love.

This is the heart of light.”
