How do you describe yourself?

Most people, when asked who they are,  will immediately answer with their relationship roles:
• I'm a daughter or son
• I'm a mother or father
• I'm a spouse or partner

Or they'll respond with their roles:
• I work for this company
• I work in this field
• I hold this degree
• My gift is this

Or they'll respond with still other ways of holding identity, including age, gender, orientation, race, education, culture, nationality and more.

All these ways of seeing ourselves as different from each other!
When of course we are all the same.

As souls, we've had so many past lives together, playing out so many different roles.
After a while in your own evolution, you realize the roles aren't important, and identities aren't a big deal.

Our essence is the key.
Our core is what matters.

The non-wavering, infinite part of us is what we are here to explore and understand. Differences are just illusion.
We're all the same.
