Sacred Egypt: Temples, spirits, past lives.

    Picture
I'm sharing more today, about the unforgettable journey on the Beyond Words Sacred Egypt journey.

This may not be the best photo you'll find of Kom Ombo Temple in Aswan, Egypt. But I'm sharing it because it marks an intense spiritual experience that I had during the trip.

You can spot me  in the distance, sitting on the steps with a few other folks from our trip. I'm sitting, because just a few moments earlier, an energy presence swooped into my field and nearly took me to my knees.

    Not in scary way.
Just so quickly and so strongly, I suddenly could not stand.
My stomach felt nauseated and my knees went to jello, and there I was, sitting in the temple.

This is how it was in Egypt, all the time.
    Energies highly elevated.
    Spirits flying around.
    Shifting into other dimensions.
    Flipping into spontaneous pastlives.

When you visit really ancient places like these temples in Egypt, you spontaneously flash back to the lifetimes you've been here before.

You enter a room, and a visions from other lifetimes arrive to you.
You flip into scenes that include  people from centuries past.
The ancient courtyard is one you've walked a thousand times.
Even the hieroglyphs are familiar—you can almost remember how to read them.

Many of us have lived in Egypt or other places in our past lives.
Which is why for so many people, traveling here is often a spiritual coming home.

Sacred Egypt: The energy of pyramids and souls.

    Picture
At last, I have time to share with you some of my experiences on the Beyond Words pilgrimage to Sacred Egypt!

We arrived in the heat and chaos that is Cairo, and spent our first night in the tranquil oasis that is the Mena Hotel. As you can see, the great pyramids were directly behind us, and their energy was so intense, so elevated, we immediately felt buzzing, high, transcendent.

We couldn't sleep or settle down.
It was impossible to shut our third eyes.
We flipped into spontaneous past lives.
We met soul mates at every turn.

Cairo is a jolt to "new" American energy. The city was founded in AD 969, but its history is much older. It's been known as Memphis, Heliopolis, Babylon-in-Egypt, Al-Fustat, Al-Qataei, Al-Askar and more by the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs, and Turks.

So it's ancient. But it's also FILLED with people: 20 million souls!
And this is just the living people—there are millions more departed souls floating on every street and alley and dimension.

I took a cab through Cairo one memorable afternoon—the trip was a non-stop river of souls driving and honking and walking and selling things, in all the lanes all at once, not a traffic light in sight. Everyone just flowed—wildly, intutively, as One.

At first I was afraid. And then I let that go. I let myself sink into this buzzy, wild, beautiful energy, the chaos and clamor and grace that is here, and just be a part of it all.

Of course, we don't have to travel to Cairo or anywhere else to experience this.
We're all part of everything, all the time.

How does reading with the mind's eye work?

    Picture
When we talk about clairvoyance, there's a lot of confusion about what people actually "see" psychically.

Sometimes we see movies in our mind.
    Sometimes we receive a memory.
    Sometimes we receive guiding visions.
Sometimes we receive symbols or objects that have meaning.

The more you practice with clairvoyance techniques, the more quickly you are able to receive imagery, and work with it—to slow it down, to sort it, to look at in another way, to ask the vision to "tell you more" or "show you more".

You become very adept at working with this swirl of visual information that you do not see with your earth eyes, but rather you "see" with your third eye, or mind's eye.

Clairvoyance is a skill that is easy to learn. Once you experence it, you suddenly remember that you have known how to do this forever. Not just in this lifetime, but in all your lifetimes.

It's a language you already know.
    The secret is remembering.

Is it time to own your psychic gifts?

    Picture
Some of us open very early to our psychic and spiritual gifts—we become aware of them when we are children, and we never stop working with them.

But others of us get stuck. We know there is something more, but we can't quite put our finger on it. We can't quite figure out how it all works.

And so we just stop using that part of us.

We enter that stage of adulting where we have to pay attention to relationship, work, family—practical things that are all important, but that draw us away from who we really are.

It is a great gift, to allow yourself to remember who you really are.

How can we live in relationship to everything?

    Picture
When we think of relationships, we often thing first of our family, lovers, friends, colleagues. Of other people.

But remember, we are in relationship to everything, all the time.
    This includes more than people.

It includes the entire Universe of animals, plants, minerals, objects, memories, emotions,  events and experineces. We are in relationship to EVERYTHING, across all dimensional realities that we inhabit.

When you start to live this way—understanding that you are in relationship to everything, and everything is always relating, communicating and communing with you—you begin to live in a state of awe.

Consider this idea today, and see how it deepens your experience.

What is the secret language of the Universe?

    Picture
The Universe has so many ways of getting our attention!

Sometimes this secret language is very subtle, such as the whisper of the breeze on our skin when we are musing over a question.

Sometimes it is the information we receive in meditation, when we open our mind's eye to guiding visions..

Sometimes it is very direct, such as a book jumping out to us in a bookstore, so that we know that our answer is within.

And sometimes it is so direct, so unbelievable, so remarkable, so emotional, we cannot believe it even happened—like a shaft of light that suddenly pours through a rock opening, in the moment we are asking for help.

    The Universe always answers us.
    Soft or loud.
    Subtly or directly.
    Exactly as we need it.
