When you open to consciousness.
When you open your heart, You begin to change Because your understanding changes. In this way, you drop your perception about Who your mind/ego/personality says you are, Who your society says you are. Who your experiences say you are. Instead, you start to experience events and happenings No longer as a part of time But as all at once. You start to experience events and happenings No longer as a part of emotion But as all at once. So, one of the first noticings of awareness Is that time seems to meld or shift And certainly becomes non-linear. Your linearity is a way of organizing The pattern in your mind, But when you relax the mind/ego/personality And step down from being the aspect That is running the show, And step down from the idea That the pattern matters or is real, You begin to have a different relationship to time. You may be accustomed to thinking of chakras,
The energy centers in the human container, As something like a wheel or a circle, And you may know already how to move That energy in a circle or whorl or sphere, And how to create activation there. You may already know the seven And also, the multitude of chakras Or energy centers that are held Throughout your body, In meridians and outside of meridians. In fact, each cell is filled with chakras. There is nothing that is not filled. You might consider this as a way of understanding The consciousness that permeates everything. All living things and also all non-living things. This will go against what you have been taught But hear it again: There is nothing that is not filled With a chakra, whorl, gathering or center That is not consciousness. The Now is always changing in all dimensions:
Time, space, matter, feeling, perception. The Now is always in constant stillness, At the center of everything, The infinite unchanging consciousness That you are a part of and that you are. The drop in the ocean is a very good metaphor, An easy way to understanding: You are the drop, A part of the sea Subject to the continual swell of waves That cannot be stopped or controlled. You are the drop, Merged with everything in the ocean. You are part of, You cannot be separate from. And yet, you are also the drop, Your own self amidst the swell. Nothing can harm you Because you are part of. Remember: you cannot separate from, And you also cannot control. |
