What's the BIGGEST lesson we’re here to learn?

    Picture
Did you think that our biggest lesson is love?
Actually, our biggest lesson is separation.

Or rather, the reality that there is no separation.
The good, the bad, the all of it, all together, all the time.

    You. Me.
    Everyone. Everything.
    No breaks.
    No timeouts.
    Always.

We are not different, we are not separate, we are literally, factually, spiritually, amazingly ONE.
    All the time. Forever.

A little excerpt  from Messages from the Divine.

"We learn on the earth plane through our fear, our shame, our self-loathing, our pride, our judgment, our prejudice, our hatred, our anger, our bitterness, our sadness, our failure.

Each lesson of separation mastered helps us crack through to the fact that we’re really souls . . . that our true experience, our true reality is eternal, unlimited and infinite.

And when we get that, well, that’s when things really start to change."

154 reasons to be grateful to you!

    Picture
I am delighted to announce that my book, Messages from the Divine is in bookstores today!

66 spiritual teachings that I channeled from the Guides.
66 simple exercises to help you anchor the teachings.
22 stories from my own life to consider and contemplate.

This is a spiritual guidebook, a new spiritual thought system, a book you can turn to any page and use over and over to help with all aspects of your life— and I am so very grateful for YOUR support.

The birthing of this book has been a huge journey of spiritual and personal growth for me, and I thank you for being a part of it.

In so many ways, writing the book was the easy part! I channeled it over many months, and the messages from the Guides were very clear and easy to receive—they are extraordinary teaching about life, love, intuition, opening, flow and why we're here.

The Universe called upon me to expand out of my natural shyness  in order to make sure this book can find its way to those who seek it.

I've come out of the woods (literally, the Oregon woods!) to connect with as many of you as I can, and what I have discovered is this:

There are more beautiful souls on this planet than I could have ever imagined.

Everywhere, we are kindred spirits on the path!

We might be introverts or empaths or sensitives or seekers who don't fit into the mainstream, but get us together and there's never been so much joy in the room—or on the airwaves!

Together, we are helping each other and the world evolve.

Why your Mother's Day is absolutely perfect.

    Picture
Long before you were born, your soul had decided who your mother would be.

Some of us chose lovely mothers.
    Others, not so much.

However, each of us chose the exact mother we required to bring us to this point today, on Mother's Day, to be having the feelings, realizations, understandings, longings, sorrows, joys and releasings that we are having today.

In other words, we chose the mother who would provide us with the soul lessons we agreed to.

In my own experience as a mother of three children and a step-son, now all adults, my belief is that mothers are here to protect and mentor their children. Their job is to make sure they get to independence as wholly and authentically as they can.

    However, that's just my belief.

Your belief of what it means to be a mother, whether you are a mother or step mother or not—may be different than mine.

Your mother's belief of what it means to be a mother or step mother—may all be very different than mine or yours.

This is because all souls are working on different lessons at different times, and thus we don't have to all agree that Mother's Day is  a Hallmark card, or a brunch, or breakfast-in-bed.

    We can be thankful—or not.
    We can be grateful—or not.
    We can be angry—or not.
We can miss them when then transition—or not.

Whatever you are feeling today, on this day that is absolutely LOADED with mainstream sentiment, is okay.

Just be with it, feel it, and if it feels like too much, you have the option to opt out and do something else.

We are all learning exactly the soul lessons we're here to learn. You don't have to worry that you're doing it wrong, or you're not getting what you need, or that your experience is different than others.

Your soul knows the way. Feel what you feel, and keep going.

What happens when you ignore signs?

    Picture
Most of us are pretty caught up in daily drama.
Even if we're conscious, it's easy to get attracted by distraction.

This makes it pretty easy for our egos to run the show, instead of our souls.

The thing is, the Universe will encourage and hint and nudge... but at a certain point, if we're still missing the point, the Light will start shining brighter.

A little excerpt from Messages from the Divine:

“When you are resistant, rebellious, dragging your heels, hiding out, numbing out, skipping lessons... this is when the Universe will provide an experience that shifts you quickly, even instantaneously.

You may perceive these experiences as hardships. Yet the gifts of these lessons are manifold:

The gift of financial ruin teaches you that money is a false god.
The gift of social downfall teaches you that fame is fickle.
The gift of illness teaches you that the body is mortal.
The gift of an accident teaches you that everything changes.
The gift of betrayal teaches you discernment.
The gift of grief teaches you to enjoy Now.
The gift of failure teaches you fearlessness.
The gift of bottoming out teaches you to begin again.

You receive the lesson that you can handle. You are meant to grow! So when you are hiding out in a non-learning, non-growing, unconscious life, the Universe will seek to balance this.”

What's the little-known secret to living in Flow?

    Picture
When we talk about living Flow, what do we mean?

Well, think about the most amazing day you've ever had, where all the red lights turned green, where you found a parking spot right away, where every person helped you out, where everything was simple, easy and effortless.

This is Flow—a way of living and being that puts you right smack in the middle of Universal energy, so that instead of pushing against the forces that be, you are moving in accord with them.

But the big secret about Flow is this:

You don't get there by manifesting.
You don't get there by Law of Attraction.
You don't get there by "doing" in any way.

Instead, Flow demands that you allow yourself to be guided by the Universe—to enter a state of complete and utter surrender so that you are NOT doing what your ego or mind wants, but you are INSTEAD following what the Universe offers to you.

    Weird, amiright?
    Counterintuive, yes?
Not what we've been told, correct?

And yet, this is how it works.

We get into Flow when we let go of all control, surrender down and let ourselves be guided.

And it is a beautiful, beautiful place to be.

How would you feel if you let yourself be?

    Picture
Are you a person who enjoys stillness and quiet?
Who loves to just hang out and "be" and not do anything in particular?
    Who loves private time?

    I sure am.

However, just because that's my personality style—I'm a card-carrying introvert, as I'm sure many of you are—it doesn't mean I get to live in my own little Shangri La of Solitude.

    Nope.

Just like you, my life is filled with all the noise and chaos and drama of everything-and-everyone-all-the-time.

So, what I try to do is make sure I get my Stillness Fix, every single day.

No matter what, I carve out a little spot of quiet time for myself every 24 hours, in which I might connect with the Guides, do some journaling, sit in nature, or just do nothing in particular at all.

And what I always find, is that these moments spent in stillness and in connection with All That Is, creates more change in myself and my life than all of the hours of busyness.

Being brings me to greater understanding than doing.
Is this the same for you?
