Lately, I've been seeing a lot of clients dealing with fear. Not just normal fears, say of a spider in the shower... Of Course we'd all running screaming away from that!!!!
These are fears about changing... About moving out of a status quo that isn't working, and that we know isn't working.
This might be career, relationships, moving, anything...
I wonder why we become fearful, when it is find to change? What is the cultural collective, the group thought that sets us up to be afraid when we are making change.
Fear of failure? Well, of course we're going to fail repeatedly.... Many, many times in this lifetime.
This is reality for all of us... So why is it a problem???
Fear of success, which often means we have to let go of situations and relationships that aren't coming along for the ride?
Again, it's just how it works.
Understanding that your comfort zone is temporary, that try as you might you simply can't stay in bed with covers pulled over your head... That change... And growth... Are the realities...
This can help, if you feel fear at the aspect of change.
