"The ticking clock urges you to use every moment, to hold every moment in your hand like the precious commodity it is.
Every moment you waste being numbed out, bored, disengaged, distracted, unhappy, enraged . . . you do not get this time back.
Time marches forward, to encourage you to march forward also: be in your life!
Not by busyness or “to-dos.”
But by becoming fully engaged with every moment that arrives.
Fully here in this moment.
Fully here in the next moment.
Your whole life a beautiful string of pearls, an exquisite necklace of being.
And it’s all yours for the creating!
All you have to do is say yes, and move forward"--Messages from the Divine.
Wishing you a beautiful Summer Solstice 2019!

"Once you have learned a lesson, you don’t have to repeat it.
Once it’s learned, you’re free.
The learning of a lesson—such as standing up for yourself, respecting yourself, holding yourself most dear, loving yourself—often brings big changes.
A relationship may end.
A job may end.
You might move.
Your lifestyle may change.
Change will come, when you are learning lessons.
And it is this fear of change that tends to make you hang back in the back row, repeating and repeating the same thing:
You might attract relationships that are humiliating or abusive... and stay in them.
You might go to jobs that are dull and boring . . . and stay there.
You might live in places that don’t resonate with you . . . and stay there.
You might have habits and addictions that keep you numb . . . and continue them.
You refuse to learn the lesson, because you are afraid of change. You repeat the lesson over and over, never learning it, because you are afraid of change.
And yet, of course, change is just how things are.
Learn the lesson or don’t learn the lesson.
But there is no escaping change."--Messages from the Divine
We'll be working with Messages from the Divine in the weeks ahead, because these spiritual teachings are so important.
"...when you have faced failure once, twice, a thousand times in your life, something wonderful will eventually happen: you will lose your fear. And that is perhaps not just half the battle, but the whole battle for most of us in this lifetime.
No fear of failure.
No fear of loss.
No fear of shame.
No fear of death.
When you lose the fear of failure, you are set free.
This freedom may happen early; it may take you many years. Or you may glimpse it in the last breath you take.
The choice of when is up to you.
When you lose the fear of failure, you are set free."--Messages from the Divine

And now for the Beyond Words Sacred Egypt grand finale, created by my husband Dr. Steve Koc and set to music by our very own Martyrs of Sounds.
And finally, our beautiful touching farewell as we arrived at the Cairo airport and soon were to head to destinations all over the globe.
After these days together on the Sacred Egypt journey, we had bonded! A great spiritual trip is one where you relax, let loose, share, meditate, heal, cry, laugh, hug, explore and learn new things about yourself. All of that happened, and more.
So it was sad to say goodbye, and we connected one last time with a lovely group OM led by James Twyman. Our voices rose together on the tour bus, and we remembered again: we are never alone.
We are not separate.
We are here to help each other.
Love is the only answer.

As we came down to the last days in Egypt, I started to feel uncertain. Everyone around me was having big spiritual experiences. They were having "aha" moments and past life remembrances and connections with other souls.
It's true—some of this was happening for me, especially when it came to past life remembrances. But there was a feeling I couldn't put my finger on. It was a sense of anticipation, of that was supposed to happen, but hadn't happened yet.
And time was running out!
By the time we boarded the small plane to fly back from Luxor back to Cairo—once again over the vast Sahara— I'd given up. What I thought was going to happened, wasn't—and this was okay. I focused on my incredible gratitude for all that I had seen and experienced, and I let go of the need for some additional "aha", and I just relaxed on the plane and talked to the person sitting next to me.
Of course, that was when it happened.
I was sitting in the middle seat.
The other person was sitting in the aisle seat.
Nobody was in the window seat.
Until someone was.
All of a sudden, for no reason, I felt a presence had come into my awareness. Not like a little spirit. Certainly not a human. It was a gigantic guide—so big that his head did not fit under the plane ceiling, but extended up through the ceiling. He was huge, and his presence was as calm and steady and untroubled as stone, and he took his massive hand and held my wrist.
I sat there, transfixed by literally everything, unable to feel or think, and in that moment, I felt all of this guide's presence and I heard something along the lines of "Everything is okay." And then in the next moment. "Be only you."
A simple answer. But not simple to me.
In the puzzle of my own inner spiritual work it was the absolute key to something I had been working on for a very long time.
And so we sat there, this gigantic guide holding my wrist, and the rest of the trip—witnessing the mummies in the Museum, back at the hotel, on the 12 hour flight back to JFK, and here back to Oregon, this guide has remained. He is with me here right now.
So who is this new guide? There will be more to tell—and in time, there will be a great deal to channel. But for now, it is enough for me to say that there are absolute miracles, all the time.
For me, for you.
They never stop.

I've long been a lover of all things Bhakti—a practice of celebrating the Divine with music, singing, chanting and dance.
So I was especially thrilled on our Beyond Words Sacred Egypt trip, by a dance troupe who performed in the brilliantly ornate rooms of the Old Palace at the Mena Hotel.
This is not Bhakti, but it was a celebration!
There were drums and percussion and horns!
There were lively dancers doing the Sufi dance of Whirling Dervish!
Sufi dancing is super lively and very intricate—men twirl and circle endlessly, and as the dance gets faster and louder, their skirts become more colorful and then the skirts start to split and separate, so they are spinning above and below.
Our Beyond Words group practically blew a fuse when all this activity exploded!
Being Americans, we all joined in with what might best be described as the Egyptian version of "La Macarena."
We may not have been pretty, but we sure had fun!
It was a good reminder that spirituality is meant to be rowdy!
We're meant to have fun and celebrate!
We're meant to dance and laugh and get wild!
If your life seems stuck, you will do well to call upon your inner Whirling Dervish.
One spin, and you're facing a new direction.
Two spins, and you've literally changed your entire perspective.

More than 90 percent of Egypt is the Sahara Desert. As we discovered on the Beyond Words Sacred Egypt trip hosted by publishers Richard and Michele Cohn, this makes for a very different environment than we are used to seeing in most parts of America.
The desert is very hot and very dry. It receives less than .4 inches of rain per year.
Yet this was not always the case.
6,000 years ago, the Sahara was covered in grassland that received plenty of rainfall. But sudden shifts in weather patterns transformed it into some of the driest land on earth.
How did this happen?
No one is sure.
We traveled by plane from Cairo to Answan, soaring high above the endless sand that was the desert. And then we traveled from Answan to Luxor by boat, cruising on the verdant Nile.
It was a study in contrasts, and it brought the clear knowing of how quickly things can change.
Everything is changing even now.
Not just in the desert, but everywhere, in every way.
When we detach from trying to control everything—when we let ourselves be the nomadic souls we are, wandering the Universe for eternity—there is a certain relaxation, a certain knowing that all is well.
Change is constant.
Everything is okay.

One of my favorite parts of the Beyond Words pilgrimage to Egypt was cruising on the Nile.
We spent three days on the waterway from Aswan to Luxor, and I found my heart flooded with joy. One morning, I spent several hours sitting motionless on deck, gazing awestruck at the scenery along the banks of the Nile—trees, plants, birds, small buildings and occasionally animals or people.
I was entranced, as if under a spell.
I was lost in remembrance.
It felt like some long-forgotten dream.
I have journeyed down this Nile in past lives—not as Cleopatra, I can assure you! But as a different person, experiencing the same soul as I do now. This is how we all experience past lives--different person, same soul.
As I was brought back to this remembrance, my past self and current self merged, and my heart opened into bliss.
On the trip, I was so fortunate to lead three sessions: a Full Moon Meditation on the Nile, that I taught under the actual full moon, in the cabana you see here. The next night, I taught a Past Life Regression in the same beautiful space. An afternoon following, I taught a Third-Eye Opening Meditation in the gardens of the Hotel Mena.
During these meditations, we were joined by celestial and nature spirits—the energy expanded, the wind picked up to answer us, animals arrived unexpectedly, and we were gifted with visions and messages of Divine guidance, the group energy elevating our own.
Other wonderful presenters also taught: James Twyman, the peace troubadour; Hollister Rand, the acclaimed medium; Andrea Smith, the world peace artist.
It was an honor to work with everyone on the trip, and it's also an honor to share this now—because most certainly, we have all worked together many time before.

I'm sharing more today, about the unforgettable journey on the Beyond Words Sacred Egypt journey, hosted by publishers Richard and Michele Cohn.
This may not be the best photo you'll find of Kom Ombo Temple in Aswan, Egypt. But I'm sharing it because it marks an intense spiritual experience that I had during the trip.
You can spot me in the distance, sitting on the steps with a few other folks from our trip. I'm sitting, because just a few moments earlier, an energy presence swooped into my field and nearly took me to my knees.
Not in scary way.
Just so quickly and so strongly, I suddenly could not stand.
My stomach felt nauseated and my knees went to jello, and there I was, sitting in the temple.
This is how it was in Egypt, all the time.
Energies highly elevated.
Spirits flying around.
Shifting into other dimensions.
Flipping into spontaneous pastlives.
When you visit really ancient places like these temples in Egypt, you spontaneously flash back to the lifetimes you've been here before.
You enter a room, and a visions from other lifetimes arrive to you.
You flip into scenes that include people from centuries past.
The ancient courtyard is one you've walked a thousand times.
Even the hieroglyphs are familiar—you can almost remember how to read them.
Many of us have lived in Egypt or other places in our past lives.
Which is why for so many people, traveling here is often a spiritual coming home.
P.S. We're starting early signups for our JUNE Summer Solstice virtual retreat! Just $15!
At last, I have time to share with you some of my experiences on the Beyond Words pilgrimage to Sacred Egypt!
We arrived in the heat and chaos that is Cairo, and spent our first night in the tranquil oasis that is the Mena Hotel. As you can see, the great pyramids were directly behind us, and their energy was so intense, so elevated, we immediately felt buzzing, high, transcendent.
We couldn't sleep or settle down.
It was impossible to shut our third eyes.
We flipped into spontaneous past lives.
We met soul mates at every turn.
Cairo is a jolt to "new" American energy. The city was founded in AD 969, but its history is much older. It's been known as Memphis, Heliopolis, Babylon-in-Egypt, Al-Fustat, Al-Qataei, Al-Askar and more by the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs, and Turks.
So it's ancient. But it's also FILLED with people: 20 million souls!
And this is just the living people—there are millions more departed souls floating on every street and alley and dimension.
I took a cab through Cairo one memorable afternoon—the trip was a non-stop river of souls driving and honking and walking and selling things, in all the lanes all at once, not a traffic light in sight. Everyone just flowed—wildly, intutively, as One.
At first I was afraid. And then I let that go. I let myself sink into this buzzy, wild, beautiful energy, the chaos and clamor and grace that is here, and just be a part of it all.
Of course, we don't have to travel to Cairo or anywhere else to experience this.
We're all part of everything, all the time.
P.S. SIgn up now for our JUNE course of the month: Awakening Light: A Solstice Retreat. Just $15!
When we talk about clairvoyance, there's a lot of confusion about what people actually "see" psychically.
Sometimes we see movies in our mind.
Sometimes we receive a memory.
Sometimes we receive guiding visions.
Sometimes we receive symbols or objects that have meaning.
The more you practice with clairvoyance techniques, the more quickly you are able to receive imagery, and work with it—to slow it down, to sort it, to look at in another way, to ask the vision to "tell you more" or "show you more".
You become very adept at working with this swirl of visual information that you do not see with your earth eyes, but rather you "see" with your third eye, or mind's eye.
Clairvoyance is a skill that is easy to learn. Once you experence it, you suddenly remember that you have known how to do this forever. Not just in this lifetime, but in all your lifetimes.
It's a language you already know.
The secret is remembering.

Some of us open very early to our psychic and spiritual gifts—we become aware of them when we are children, and we never stop working with them.
But others of us get stuck. We know there is something more, but we can't quite put our finger on it. We can't quite figure out how it all works.
And so we just stop using that part of us.
We enter that stage of adulting where we have to pay attention to relationship, work, family—practical things that are all important, but that draw us away from who we really are.
If you are ready to open (or reopen) your innate psychic abilities, I would love to work with you in Spiritual Psychic Summer 2019.
You can read all about the 8-week training here.
You can be a beginner, or someone who once had skills but has forgotten how, or someone who knows they have skills but wants to learn more, or someone who wants support and accountability on the path.
We begin in June, but signups are going fast, so don't wait.
It is a great gift, to allow yourself to remember who you really are.
When we think of relationships, we often thing first of our family, lovers, friends, colleagues. Of other people.
But remember, we are in relationship to everything, all the time.
This includes more than people.
It includes the entire Universe of animals, plants, minerals, objects, memories, emotions, events and experineces. We are in relationship to EVERYTHING, across all dimensional realities that we inhabit.
When you start to live this way—understanding that you are in relationship to everything, and everything is always relating, communicating and communing with you—you begin to live in a state of awe.
Consider this idea today, and see how it deepens your experience.
P.S. Signups are OPEN for Spiritual Psychic Summer 2019 group training!
The Universe has so many ways of getting our attention!
Sometimes this secret language is very subtle, such as the whisper of the breeze on our skin when we are musing over a question.
Sometimes it is the information we receive in meditation, when we open our mind's eye to guiding visions..
Sometimes it is very direct, such as a book jumping out to us in a bookstore, so that we know that our answer is within.
And sometimes it is so direct, so unbelievable, so remarkable, so emotional, we cannot believe it even happened—like a shaft of light that suddenly pours through a rock opening, in the moment we are asking for help.
The Universe always answers us.
Soft or loud.
Subtly or directly.
Exactly as we need it.

You do not have to have any special abilities to receive Divine messages from the Universe.
However, there is a key.
The key that is required is noticing, which we might call awareness, which we might call consciousness.
The key is not secret!
In fact, it's available to everyone.
But it does require getting out of your head, letting go of your looping thoughts, and allowing yourself to notice what is right of you.
The Mystery is not all that mysterious!
Everything is right in front of us, either right Now, or in right timing.
And so paying attention—again, not paying attention to thoughts, but paying attention in a diffuse, expanded, soft, detached way—is where you can start noticing What Is.
We are working on this during our May course, How to Hear What the Universe is Saying.
Try it out, and see what the Universe is asking you to notice.
There are so many ways to open your psychic abilities. Sometimes we focus on using our psychic seeing, or our psychic hearing—techniques that usually use meditation.
But there are other ways to gather psychic information too, and these can be as simple as working with pen and paper, and using writing as an intuitive tool.
The results can be astonishing.
There is the sense of disbelief at first, and then laughter.
"How long have I been able to do this?" you might wonder.
"Is this actually happening?" you might ask.
In truth, you've known how forever.
You just didn't know you knew.
For May, we're working on How to Hear What the Universe is Saying. This simple, fun and eye-opening course will show you how to gather intuitive information from the world around you, including the everyday objects that you see every day.
We use noticing and writing as our tools.
And yes, the results will suprise you!
Sometimes we are blessed to participate in and to witness moments of astounding beauty.
Not just by ourselves, but in the company of other people.
There is something about experiencing this together—the way our hearts open, not just as one heart, but as One heart connected. We feel what each other is feeling. And there is a great sense of relief, that we are not alone.
If it is time for you to arrange to such an event for yourself, please do so.
It can be as simple as watching the sun rise on a beach.
Watching the sunset in a park.
The point is to do it with others around you, so that you are in witness together.
The feeling of Oneness that emerges will carry you for a long time.

Part of being awake in the world is understanding that our lives are filled with millions of beautiful, astonishing, astounding experiences.
Miracles, you might say, in their ability to open our hearts and help us know who we are.
If you have not had one of these miracle moments in a while, why not allow yourself to have one today?
The Universe is at your service. All you need to do is ask.

We might think a tree is natural, or a flower is natural, or a wild animal is natural.
But what about us?
Of course we're natural too. Humans are part of the earth, in the same ways that trees, flowers, animals are natural.
We share one collective soul with other humans, with our species.
But we also share one collective soul with all the beings of the earth.
And we are part of One collective soul that is the Universe.
If you have not grounded for a long time: found a place in nature, taken off your shoes and your jacket and your hat and just KNOWN yourself as a natural being, it is time.
The weather may not be permitting in your area yet, but it will be soon.
Mark your calendar, to have this experience.
Today, tomorrow, next week.
Just don't miss out.

We are symbiotic with Gaia.
We are not separate from each other—humans and the earth.
We are not separate from the planet we live on.
It is about more than recycling, or living green, or finding green energy, or ending climate change, or supporting ways to live in ecological soundness. Of course, these are all tremendously important!
But from a spiritual perspective, it is also deeply important that we love.
We love Gaia, with our full hearts.
We say this over and over, as prayer to the earth.
We are fully grateful, for the gift of living on this planet.
If you have not grounded yourself lately--gotten out into real nature, and truly connected—it is time to do that today.
When we love the earth, we love with our whole hearts.
And she of course, hears us.

If we are grateful, if we give thanks—does this make us "good"?
Does this mean we are further on the spiritual path than someone else?
No, it does not.
Remember: there is no hierarchy of souls.
One soul is not "good" while another soul is "bad", regardless of our actions here on earth.
All souls are perfect. Messages from the Divine
That's the Divine part of us. But in the earthly, worldly, day-to-day part, the part where our very Divine soul inhabits our very earthly human container, being grateful can help us on our path.
Gratitude helps, because it lifts vibration.
When we raise vibration, even if just for a moment, we become aware.
When we become aware, even if just for a moment, we remember who we really are.
Whenever you are deeply grateful for your human experience—the good, the bad, the all of it—you open your consciousness a little bit more.
Over time, you start to live in grace.
P.S. Join us for THE GRATITUDE PROJECT, a 28-day immersion. Just $15!
What happens when we create ritual?
When we use fire, sage, sound or scent to represent our spiritual intention?
When we mark an event or understanding in a serious and meaningful way?
What I have found, is that ritual creates magic.
It is the clearest way to let the Universe know that you are deeply, deeply grateful.
It is taking a moment in the fabric of the Universe—sliding between the layers and levels of all the dimensions—and recognizing what a great gift it is to be here.
If you have not created ritual lately, it might be time.
You can create ritual to say thank you, or you can create ritual to remember, or you can create ritual to release.
There is no special way to do it, either.
Fire, sage, sound and scent are common markers.
But you can do whatever works for you—it is a creative, unique process.
Perhaps a ritual is waiting for you today.
P.S. Join us for THE GRATITUDE PROJECT this April. Just $15!
When we arrange our life so that our priority is "being" instead of "doing", everything changes.
It doesn't mean we give up our responsibilities, or we stop working toward goals that are meaningful to us. It doesn't mean we stop doing what needs to be done.
What it does mean, is that we begin to treat our "beingness" as something of value.
Downtime isn't dumb.
Relaxation isn't lazy.
Slowing down isn't a character flaw.
To "be here now" means to treat every single moment with appropriate awe and wonder.
It's ALL part of the experience.
Not just the "doing" part.
The more you can be intentional about making space for "being" in your life, the more joy you will experience. And this is what we are here for.
P.S. We're starting THE GRATITUDE PROJECT today! Just $15! Join us!
We have all been through so much the last few years.
As a soul collective, we've had immense challenges and changes.
And sometimes, we need a little support.
We need to take a pause, and regroup and recall who we really are.
And determine once again, why we're here.
Even when times are challenging—in fact, especially when times are challenging—we do better when we gather together as collective soul, and recall our purpose.
We're here for joy!
We're here for connection!
We're here for meaning!
But sometimes, we need help remembering.
If you seek support on your path, I invite you to participate in The Gratitude Project, a 28-day spiritual community course that begins in April. It's just $15!
For 28 days, we'll immerse ourselves in gratitude.
We'll release our narrative.
We'll relax our negativity.
We'll give thanks for every little thing.
We'll lift each other up together.
