I have a question I'd really like to know your thoughts on. I have a friend I'll call Daniel We recently had a falling out. I was tired of him holding back and I felt like I was always the one giving and getting nothing in return. Some harsh things were said by both of us.
I'd really like to know how he is feeling. Can this be repaired? I already reached out, but he's not responding. I wonder if he even cares to have me as a friend. Thanks so much. Sincerely, Pam
It's okay that you haven't been in contact with Daniel.
The relationship is over, and I have the strong sense that the relationship should have been over long ago, or perhaps not even begun. It feels like this may be a pattern for you, in choosing relationships that don't quite satisfy what you want, but then instead of being clear, you just let them linger...
Good relationships require the involvement of two people—not one person doing all the giving, the other doing all the taking. If you are doing all the heavy lifting in a relationship, time to step back, look at your own role in allowing this and move on.
Spend the time you need to grieve the ending of this relationship, and when you are done, allow yourself to move with clarity toward people you really enjoy and who enjoy you.
You might look at my course Heal Your Love & Relationship Karma to help with this.
I recently started your Become a Spiritual Psychic course, and I am getting some results. I'm about to start week 3 with your rose technique and I have a question I am afraid to get answered. I don't know if this relevant but I also started Ted Andrews Animal Totems, Seeing Aura's and Speaking to Spirits as well.
What concerns me is you both mention low vibration spirits (bad) and how things need to be done right so you can protect yourself from them.
I have no interest in even encountering any low vibration spirit and I'm concerned, and actually scared to. I do a progressive relaxation, breathing and sensing my aura's & also started with the chakra points, chant or color visualization on those points. Well, at times I feel little sensations touching me, my hair, arm, leg etc. I try to ask & test them to see if they real by touching another part of my body and sometimes they do. I ask for their names or any messages they might have for me or if they are bad. Then you said not to: that it doesn't matter who or what they are as long as your in high vibration and it feels enlightening then you are ok.
Well, last night during sleep I suddenly felt this intense thing, spirit or something strongly holding me in place. I tried to break free but it would not let go. I began to ask questions if it's good, or what it wants but I felt uneasy so I just told it to leave me alone, to let go, to go away and that you can't do this reiterating let me go. It eventually did. Time passed and I felt something else trying to pull me off my bed by my leg. I felt like I was struggling again to move and to stay on the bed as I felt it pull. I demanded it let me go and leave me alone. After a few seconds it eventually did.
This last experience with the leg pulling is almost like a movie I saw a while back. So I do question its merit. But it felt so real, so intense. Can this be real? Could I have just imagined it? Was this a dream? Did I damaged my aura to allow myself to feel these? This is not a path I care to follow. Just want to make sure I'm not. If you have any thoughts on this please feel free to pass them along. Thanks —Jose
Sometimes spirits do show up like this, in very tangible, palpable, active forms. You were right to ask what its intentions were—a Divine being such as a Guide or Angel or even a beloved Departed is not going to be trying to drag you off the bed, pull a limb or try to convince you to go with it when you are resisting.
It feels to me that you have a lot of vibrational exposure to lower energy, and when you are mixing that kind of exposure with doing this course work, you can get in to a really sticky place.
If you are doing work in the spirit realm, you will need to be very clear, very clean in your energy. There is no room in your life for anything such as dark movies.
If you're working in this realm, and don't want to attract dark, you need to stay away from all dark influences. It's really hard in mainstream, because so much entertainment is seeing as "fine" but it's really tremendously dark. So, stay away from all that stuff.
It would be good to add some prayer into your practice, when you are connecting to whatever ascended masters that you feel drawn to, such as Jesus, Buddha, saints, other high holy ones. I know you know the importance of always calling the guides in when any dark or strange energy happens, and everytime you do this work.
It's not a joke, or something to be messed with, or entertainment. It's very real, and needs to be taken seriously. So, make shifts as above to your practice, and you should be fine.
I have been wanting to write you every since I first saw your website several years ago.....and just never sat down to do it. I had four life changing experiences over a 1.5 year period 7+ years ago (my father passed, I lost my job, I was sexually assaulted by a childhood friend of my son's in my home, and my husband had to have emergency quadruple bypass surgery).
One day (7 years ago) I was awakened by a voice very early in the morning urging me to get up, get dressed and get to the hospital to visit my husband who was admitted again with high blood pressure after his open heart surgery the week before. I have never had an experience like this before.....or since. The woman talking to me was very persistent but also personable. I had no choice but to listen to her. I got dressed and drove to the hospital very concerned that there was something wrong. I walked into my husband's hospital room at 6:30 AM. When I opened the door and walked in, my husband's face lit up and he was very surprised and happy to see me. There was nothing wrong. He has never been one to show his emotions and consequently, I didn't feel a real connection with him because of it.
What came to mind when I walked in the door was that when my Father died, I looked at my husband crying and said.....nobody is going to light up when I walk in the room now. I believe this guide was trying to show me that my husband would light up if I gave him a reason to....doing something out of the ordinary just for him. I shed many tears that day.
She remained with me all day. Every question I had, she answered. It was a wonderful experience and one that I wish I had journaled so I could remember every detail. After leaving the hospital, I stopped at McDonald's drive through and got a coffee. I was sitting there drinking it and asked her what her name was....and she replied "Sara." I wondered if I really heard that or if I imagined it.....so I asked her to give me a sign. Within minutes a beat up Mercedes drove up the hill with a big wooden billboard attached upside down on the top of the car that read "Sara's Pizza and Hoagies" and the phone number. I was in shock.
Since that time (7 years ago), I have been drawn to the name Sara....hence my writing to you. I subscribed to your podcasts and ordered your book for my Nook.
I am drawn to this work and believe it wholeheartedly because of this experience. I am wondering what the meaning of all of this is....and what I am supposed to be doing in this second half of my life. I will be turning 60 this month.
I would appreciate any insights you may have. Hugs — Cassandra
Thank you for sharing this beautiful experience with us. It is true that the Divine is always with us. Some people, such as yourself, have been blessed to spend time guides and angelic beings who show up in very palpable form—they appear nearly human, even though they are not.
It is an experience to treasure your entire life.
You will also notice that your guide, "Sara" had a wonderful sense of humor—an old battered Mercedes with an UPSIDE DOWN sign... I'm sure you would not find "Sara's Pizza and Hoagies" in any phone book or list anywhere in that city!
I would invite you to begin to expand your understanding, such as with my course Be a Divine Conduit for Your Guides & Angels. I find that when people have already had these amazing experiences, it is very simple for them to become advanced in spiritual intuition practices very quickly.
What is the root of procrastination? I am great at researching, I can find out about anything that I am interested in on the internet and that is where it usually stays. How do you move from planning to doing? I have a very strong resistance to taking the first step. Thanks—Kate
Procrastination stems from fear. Often, fear of failure.
It is so easy to be "researching" on the internet, and finding out about things, but this is a kind of passive distraction that allows us to not really step into our life..
Researching allows us to stay in a cozy little cocoon of not stepping into our true calling. We feel like we're doing something, but we're really just hiding.
When you step into what you are really meant to do—let's say writing, for example—you will find that the act of writing is fraught with peril: there is the very real possibility you will fail, fail again, and fail after that.
Just staying in "research" mode allows you to never have to stretch, or expand, or take that very scary step into what you are destined to do.
Some people send their whole life in the safe cocoon, not allowing themselves to dare to reach and stretch into their true calling.
Other people dare, try, reach, fail, reach again, fail again... they live as their true selves, true calling, and take the risk to do so.
When you find yourself procrastinating, ask yourself what you are afraid of. You might like my course Manifest Miracles to help you find your way.
Hi Sara-- I'm hoping you might have some words of advice. I feel like lately I've become too sensitive to other peoples energy, to the point where it makes me feel jumpy and jittery, not grounded, not myself, and absolutely uncomfortable in all situations. It's compounded by the fact that it's at home, too-- my last housemate and current housemate both have been unhappy, jittery, tweaky, and that's how I've felt. I recently went to a street fair and was overwhelmed. What can I do to not absorb their energy, especially when it's related to me (previous housemate was unhappy with me, my dog, my rent amount, etc, and I took that on myself). Any words of wisdom are much apprecaited, or even a link to an episode where you might have talked about this.
Many, many thanks,
Being sensitive is not without its drawbacks! It can be hard to live in the earth world, because you feel everything—everyone's emotions, the emotions and energy in places, of things, of situations, all of it. You feel the energy of the planet, weather, the energy of technology... all of it.
The only answer I can provide, is that you begin a very active practice of being in direct connection with your guides and angelic beings. This will effectively shift your energy frequency to a higher vibration, which will allow you to be able to handle your sensitivity better. One good course for this is Be A Divine Conduit for Guides and Angels, which you can do daily.
Once you start having direct connection with the Divine, I think you will feel better. —SARA
